My Review: Blink
A Closer Look at Blink
Gladwell notes several things come into play at this time. Describing all the phenomena is the meat of the book. We can gain great insight by Thin Slicing. We can get amazing results by diminishing irrelevant data. There are instances when the internal computer can preform astounding feats of comprehension.
Interspersed with this Gladwell provides cautionary evidence of how we can be led astray. Priming can actually cause people to behave differently. Statistics won't provide the best answer if the instrument isn't asking the right question. Adrenalin and other stress chemicals in the body will turn normally rational men into savages.

... oh and by the way...
That's not exactly true. Gladwell says be mindful of the moment. The solution is on page 17 of the paperback's introduction, in short it's in the beginning of the book.
