Blogs (also known as web logs) are used for many things. They are used for journaling, promoting things, and at times just for getting a point across.

Using a blog is a very effective way of getting these things done. So many people love to read blogs, and they like to hear what others have to say.

If you are a blog owner, then chances are you read blogs yourself and appreciate other's views on things.

Marketing you blog is only as hard as you make it. You market a blog a lot like you would market a website. You are going to find that blog marketing is somewhat less expensive than owning a website though.

For example, when you buy a domain, you do not buy it for life, you only buy it for so many years. That can be just one year, or more (which is a personal preference).

So, starting a blog does not have that cost up front that you are looking at for a website, nor does it cost anything monthly to host as a website would.

When you are blog marketing, it is a good idea to stay on top of the blogging news.

This will ensure that you are aware of the new tools that become available to bloggers. Whether they are promotion tools, or tracking tools, any of them will allow you to keep track of your blog and market it better than ever.

Blogging news (to keep you updated on what is happening in the blogosphere) can be found everywhere you would find your other internet marketing news. imnewswatch.com is a good start; try the Google Blog Search, and also the Google Zeitgeist.

You will see that most news is also blogged about - so if there is anything in particular about blogging in the news that you are looking for more information on, you will not have to go far.

By reading other blogs about any new news, you are able to get other's views on the tools and techniques as well.

As you can see, it is very important to keep up to date with your blog, and be aware of the new things that come out for it.

You never know when the latest thing is going to hit the blogging world again, so keep your eyes peeled!

A great way to earn money from your blog: 

I found out about something the other day called ClickBank Mall.

In case you don't know, ClickBank is an affiliate network you join and earn between 50% and 75% on any purchases as a result of your promotions. And that high percentage means you're looking at probably between $15 and $35 per sale.

And now the easier way to make these sales (of products written by other people!) is not to list individual links in different places. It is to have a clever ClickBank Mall. A library for people to browse.

I'm loving it.

The one downside is this: maybe the price is a little high for you right now if you're just beginning your internet marketing career. It's set at $79.

It's worth checking it out, at least. For what you get, $79 is really cheap. But compared to what you might be earning online right now, $79 might seem expensive!

Actually, that's probably the best reason you have to get this thing. 2 or 3 sales and your money is back in your pocket. Go for it!
