- I've been blogging for fun for a couple of years now, but never considered it a way to make money until I joined Squidoo and Twitter and started learning from others the possibilities that exist. I happen to love writing -- always have. But it would be nice to get paid for it. I have modified my business plan to gradually move more into affiliate programs and less into retailing as I can begin to produce more affiliate income. I just hope no one thinks that it's an easy way to quick riches. Thoughtful writing takes time, and so does finding the right products to promote as an affiliate. In my case, working full time with my educational book business doesn't leave me with much time to work on lenses plus my two blogs.
