I can boost your blog to popularity

(Actually I can show you how to boost yourself to popularity).

It's what we all want when we blog - attention!  We crave it and now you can have it.  For a few lucky bloggers they will get a chance to enjoy the Secret of the Blog Boost.

I'm going to do this for free. (read more)

What is this secret?

I'll tell you this much - it is a number of things, some very supprising, that every blogger should be doing.  I'm not talking about dirty tricks but honest friendly blogging stuff.

If you want more - you will have to be "in class".

Time is running out!

There is not much time to get yourself into the top 10 and into the buzz boost class. If you have not already added your blog then do so now and send your friends along to get some votes.

What is going on here then?

Free White Hat SEO skills given away!

White Hat SEO is the art of making a site rank better without hurting anyone or breaking any rules at all. For 10 lucky blogs and their lucky owner these basic skills are going to be passed on for free.

These 10 bloggers will become part of my first class of Boosted Blogs - It costs nothing at all and to enter you simply need to put your blog on the list (and vote on it).

The top 10 blogs on that list above when it becomes time to start will be the very first Cohort of Blog Boosters.

I'm planning on doing this for free for as long as I can but I don't intend to run this class more than once a year. "lessons" run at your pace and everything adapts to the needs of the students.

Full list of topics

What will w be looking at (detailed)?

I have now posted an article touching briefly on the 12 steps the class will be taking. At the end of these steps you should be an A list ready blogger or at least well respected.

01. Be yourself.
02. Work with what you have.
03. Go minimalist
04. Stop playing with yourself.
05. Add to what you have.
06. Hone what you have.
07. Listen and respond.
08. Learn and Grow.
09. Show respect.
10. Shock and awe.
11. Be timely and urgent.
12. Bring something new.

The 12 steps to the A list expands on this idea sketching a very rough overview of the class if you would like to know more.

What will the lessons cover?

What you could learn and do.

Lessons are interactive and can take place via email, IM and forum. Due to the restrictions of time zones and the like mostly it will be forum and email.

We will be looking at such topics as:
  • Getting a minimum of page rank of 4 (any blogger should be able to do this)
  • Inbound links, what they are, why you should want them and the right way to seek them.
  • Nofollow - when to use it and when not to
  • Picking your Blog Platform (and moving if that's what you need). We all need to use something to publish our blog. What should we be looking for in a platform.
  • Style of Content - I can not teach you to write like a grand master of the language but I do intend to make you aware of some common mistakes that put people off reading your stuff.

Three Cheers for Everyone

...but what are we waiting for?

It's true that class has not yet started. This is because I feel the need to let everyone have a go but also because I'm waiting for a key moment. That key moment is when every link in the top 10 has more votes than just the submitter and I could cause. So get your friends, your mum and even your monkey to vote. While your t it vote for any class mates you might like to have.

In the mean time shout it out for the link that deserves the most votes...

But there is a twist - you can vote great shouts up and down too!

Three Cheers for all of you

I'm shouting out for each and every one of you guy more...2 points
