- Great lens. Love your blog too. I'm still a newbie on here but dead keen. I too draw inspiration from my own blogs, websites, twitter and facebook etc, but thanks for the encouragement.

- Brilliant idea, Susan and of course, just like using the keywords people are finding your lenses with as inspiration, you can create a lens based on the hot keywords on your blog.

- I started on Squidoo with the idea that I would spread the ideas that I talk about on my blog! I thought I would make just one lens, but discovered that I can make any number of lenses about different topics on my blog!

- Its a good idea to turn blog posts into a Squidoo lens too. I don't have a blog, but someday hope to find the time for it. Love Squidoo and I guess in away this is where I blog.
Loving you and thinking of you Susan, ... in my heart to stay! x

- There is definitely interplay between my blogs and my Squidoo lenses, but rarely can I say a lens grew from a single post. I added one that had a blog post as its inspiration -- the original post is on the lens.
A couple other lenses grew from short articles posted on tutoring sites.

- I have been thinking about this for some time. My blogs have kind of gotten lost in the shuffle and I was going to start, one by one, reviving them, but I think I will turn the posts into lens instead! Thanks for the inspiration!

- Thanks for sharing your duh moment. I had a similar thought today. I was looking at a friend's blog about their travels and they had all this rich text and pictures and I thought, wow, I should ask them if I can get their permission to re-publish all this great material onto a lens. Then I thought, duh, why not publish some travel lenses inspired by my own blog rather than someone else's. Doi? So I think the same can be said about snippets of Tweeets or Facebook posts. They are kind of like instant draft versions of lenses. So thanks for sharing your thoughts....I so hear ya.

- I've been blogging since the start of 2005 and there is a ton of stuff there I could make lenses about. However, I am TRYING now to focus on the lenses that are about my music and art and my blog is personal, not biz-related. I'm featuring this on my fan-club thank-you lens so - thank you!

- Susan -- yep, sometimes the coolest ideas are right under our very noses! My first blog post was in December 2004 -- it was rather my awakening about blogging being a good thing! Wow, look all that has happened since that time. ;)

- I write (when I have time) on Associated Content too so I kind of already got the idea; I am thinking of using the blog post I wrote today as a Squidoo lens and also an article; I could actually write a few articles about it and use them to get traffic to my lens. I'm not too sure where to start but I'll get around to it very soon I hope!

- I've turned several blog posts into Squidoo lenses. Whenever I get a lot of searches on a subject that's one of the first things I do. Then I post about my new lens! It really helps my readers find more detailed info! Great lens, great topic!

- Hi Susan52, Let's see, I read Ron's blog post that linked to this lens. I've been thinking about doing something similar to this and I'm happy to see it working for you. I was very pleasantly surprised to see my "Duh!" designs on your lens. (I hope you sell a million of them! - grin). Act on your dream! JD
