Create a Google account

To use Blogger and other Google facilities

This first thing you need to do so that you can use Blogger is to create a Google account. Blogger is one of the Google facilities and that people who have a Google account will also have access to those facilities. These include for example Gmail, Google Adsense, Google Readers, Google Buzz, Google Sites, Knols, etc.
  • 1Go to Google account sign up page
  • 2Complete the form as required
  • 3At the bottom of the window hit 'I accept. Create my account' button to finish.

Create your first blog

After you've created your Google account, you now can go to create your first blog.
  • 1Click here to enter Blogger dashboard with your Google account you've just created.
  • 2Log in with your Google account
  • 3You'll be taken to Blogger dashboard, and click 'Create a blog' you see on the upper right corner
  • 4Give a title or name for your blog, its url (xxxx.blogspot.com) and complete word verification and then hit 'Continue'
  • 5Select a template and hit 'Continue'. You'll see the following:
  • 6When you hit 'Start blogging' button, you'll be taken to the posting area where you create your first blog post.
