Renegade University: One Hour and My Blog Was Up and Running!
I decided to use my blog to record the unfolding of my network marketing business in real time. It is easy to write new posts since I am simply reporting what I learn as I go along in the hopes that my experiences will be helpful to other people. For those of you that don't like to write, this is a good way to go. You don't have to research, and the writing style should be conversational, not academic.
Since I had no idea how to start, I turned to my trusty Renegade University tutorials. At my computer, I watched Mike Klingler create his own blog. Whatever he did on his screen, I did on mine. As he began to build his blog, I was right there building mine.
It's so much easier to do something when someone else is doing it right there in front of you click by click. As we moved along, Mike would make helpful suggestions about keywords or possible topics. At the end of an hour, I had the first page of my blog up and running!
Attracting Traffic
Has it helped my business? Wow! Let me tell you. Within four weeks, my blog was ranking on page 1 of Google and Yahoo for various articles. The traffic began to snowball. Ten weeks to the day of starting the blog, I had 2500 unique visitors in a 24 hour period. I have literally had people contact me wanting to sign up for my mlm opportunity without even knowing what it is! How can this be?
Blogging as a Network Marketing Tool
I think that since the blog is so informal and because of the ability to interact with readers who leave comments, they are able to "get to know me" better than they would through an individual article or even at my more nuts and bolts type website.
Blogging is so easy, it is actually relaxing to go in and do a quick update to touch base with my readers. The list of subscribers is growing every day and it is so much fun to watch the numbers rise!
I can see exactly what links people have clicked on or which keywords have been used to find me. Lately I have noticed that people are typing in my name on Google to fine my articles. How cool is that?
Blogs and Social Network Marketing on a Budget
Creating a network marketing blog and blogging is only one of the six methods of social marketing you can use to promote your business.
Whether you are a beginner, or working an established business, it just makes sense to take advantage of such a powerful tool which is either free or low cost. How low? My blog costs $7 a month. The other five methods of social marketing are free. Check out my review of Renegade University and consider trying it out for yourself. Training at the University level is free!

- Very nice lens I gave it 5 stars! I like how you show the beginner that a blog can be just as powerful as a website page at times in attracting new clients into there organization.
