DO YOU HAVE TOXIC BLOOD? CHOLESTEROL? TRIGLYCERIDES? HOW DOES IT HAPPEN?

When the blood becomes saturated with unfiltered blood then its ability to maintain body systems and organs is compromised. Blood quality determines every cell's capability to carry out its function. The blood has the potential to nourish or pollute the entire body. As we age, over-stress, ingest a poor diet, etc. blood components can build up unless detoxification is employed or the primary blood filters in the body are supported to do their function.

The liver, spleen, and every circulatory system organ can be involved in an obstructive process that impedes natural blood flow. This results in the body lowering in energy or Qi (Chinese medicine), high blood pressure, with every body function suffering from poor nutrition and de-oxygenation. No amount of vitamins or minerals can overcome the level of toxicity that develops except through gradual elimination of toxins in the blood. If detoxification happens too quickly, then a crisis can occur where nausea, exhaustion, and further setbacks in the cleansing process. If elimination is allowed to proceed on a gradual improving pace then expulsion is optimized. This requires working with the body as opposed to making physiology conform to a standardized strategy.

There are different conditions that are involved with causation of toxic build-up. From a Chinese medicine perspective, the body can involve singular or multiple constitutional conditions. The primary (6) body types are:

  • cold<--------------->hot
  • damp<------------->dry
  • deficient<--------->excess
When the body becomes or specific organ become extreme in one of the constitutional conditions above then toxicity occurs. In order to move the imbalance or over toxicity to a balanced or neutral status, the body or its organ(s) need help to move in the other direction of the continuum.

Additionally, Its very important to discern which constitution is primary so treatment priority can be arrived at before tackling obvious symptoms. Again, the goal of the correction process is to achieve balance or neutral status. That is the mid-point between cold and hot, damp and dry, and deficient and excess. Establishing the center of these continuums brings about optimal health where the symptoms subside, health anchors.

BLOOD PURIFICATION DIET 

Beneficial food to purify your blood and food to avoid

When the blood is toxic, the whole body suffers. Gradually the body and its organs weaken due to toxic and excess in the blood. The excess can create deficiency by obstructing minerals, vitamins, and physical energy. Further in extreme cases, coldness, dampness, body dryness and heat can dominate. Beacause of the blockage, people will sense the deficiency and over-nourish thus developing further excess or obesity. Some will choose to medicate thus stressing the liver more. This exacerbates the toxicity due to the liver becoming extended and not able to clear as fast in comparison to a build-up in toxicity and continued excess ingested. In order to correct the underlying imbalance in the blood, focus needs to be given to purifying the blood.

Below is a list of foods that will help purify the blood while improving normal blood function. These foods need to be increased within your diet regimen.

FOODS THAT ENHANCE BLOOD PURIFICATION:

Beets: While purifying the blood, this food strengthens the heart, circulation, liver, improves constipation. While beets moisten the blood, it also uncongests by unstacking blood components, thus supporting normal blood flow which results in calming nervousness and the spirit.

Celery: This cooling, blood purifying food improves key digestive organs - stomach, spleen, pancreas, liver. Because of its cooling nature, the following ailments are benefitted - nervousness, vertigo, eye inflammation, burning urine, blood in the urine, acne, cankor sores, excessive appetite, menopause, headache, high blood pressure, damp body type, diabetes, acidosis, rheumatism, arthritis, gout, nerve inflammation and high blood pressure.

Cucumber: Blood detoxifier, cooling, diuretic, anti-toxic, Improves, bladder and kidney infections, stomach inflammation and ulcers, sore throat, conjunctivitis, acne, skin imbalances. Great topical for skin inflammation.

Grape: Blood purifier, diuretic, increases energy, benefits glands, liver and kidneys, bones, connective tissues and muscles, rheumatism, arthritis, cold constitution, urinary pain, liver imbalances (hepatitis, jaundice), red grapes for anemia and strength. 8 ounces per day for chronic conditions. 16 oz. for acute episodes.

Lemon/Lime: Blood purifier, especially beneficial for Excess body types who have sustained on a high fat protein diet. Its anti-microbial, antiseptic itch, clear the alimentary canal from mouth to rectum. Supports liver functions and digestive absorption. Benefits: colds, flus, dysentery, bad coughs, parasites, weight loss, high blood pressure, sluggish and congealed blood, deteriorating blood vessels, flatulence, indigestion, diabetes, spasms, nervousness, excess thirst, topical for itch, sores, corns, eye wash. Avoid if one has weak blood (insomnia, pale complexion, irritability, thinness). Lime is stronger than lemon.

Raspberry: Blood purifier, neutral food temperature, improves the liver and kidneys, nourishes the blood. Benefits: anemia, excessive/frequent urination, Raspberry leaf improves the uterus, normalizes excessive menstrual flow, supports premature ejaculation, pregnancy hormone balance, curtails bleeding. Dried unripe raspberry fruit is stronger than mature fruit. The fruit supports one's essence thus enhances libido, impotence, involuntary seminal emission and spermatorrhea. Increase eye visual functions.

Salt (Himalayan, Sea): Blood purifier, softens masses, moistens dryness. This benefits hardened lymph nodes, cataracts, muscle and gland hardness, constipation, abdominal swelling and pain, skin inflammation and sores, sore throat, nourishes the heart and mind, increases concentration, calms the dry, nervous, thin body type. Avoid if your body type is damp, overweight, sluggish, high blood pressure

Vinegar: Blood purifier, stimulates body energy and circulation, decongests the blood and liver, improves mood, food poisoning, nausea, edema, overweight, mucus, topical-athletes foot and insect stings, digestive parasites and worms, ceases bleeding-nose, spitting blood, fainting, post childbirth anemia. Avoid if you have a weak digestion, soft stools, chronic fatigue, general weakness, muscular injury, rheumatism.

Watercress: Blood purifier and builder, diuretic, improves the lung, stomach, bladder and kidney energy, lubricates the lungs and throat, reduces cancerous growths, improves night vision, clears facial sores, stimulates gland secretions, benefits jaundice, urinary tract problems, yellow lung mucus, sore throat, mumps, gas, bad breath.

You can also juice these foods 3-4 cups a day for a 160 lb. person. This can be increased for heavier people. You can combine or drink separately. When designing your diet, allow for 3/5 of your plate to hold the above items while 2/5 needs to hold the secondary items below.

You can go to just about any natural product retail store and they will give you the same song and dance about how you "must cleanse the gut and digestive system". You have to experience some "detox crisis" and thats "good because its confirmation that you are toxic". You have to experience some pain to get some gain! The fact is, is that is not so and can lead to more serious inflammatory conditions. Most of the colon formulations are too cold and cause the digestive tract to become colder. The result can be where the energy, life force or the "digestive fire can be extinguished" which makes correction more difficult. This can also result in many clients losing faith in natural medicine, if the pattern continues.

We have different bodies and the detox formulation needs to be differentiated. If the digestion is cold and you can tell this by touching the outside of your belly, then you need a warming detox cleanse. This goes the same for the blood. If the heart region is cold then you need a warming formula for the heart region or you could actually worsen someone's heart condition.

    Interesting site! I have a problem with my digestion that seems to have no solution. When I am checked out, I am alright but still my digestion hurts. Any suggestions?
