The list includes some of most watch horrors too, including, Dusk till Dawn, 30 Days of Night, House of 1,000 Corpses, Cannibal Holocaust, Pieces, Re-Animator, Evil Dead 2, Saw 6, Dead Alive, Ichi The Killer, Nikos the Impaler, Brain-dead, and Freddy vs. Jason. Let's revisit them and see why we love their Halloween horror.

1-From Dusk till Dawn (1996)

Two fugitive brothers, Seth and Richard are on the run from law for the robbery attempt in Texas. These young men run into Mexico. This is the place where the whole set of mysterious events start to happen. There are string of villains and vampires that come to their way. They have to survive the attacks courageously. They have made a deal to kingpin to help them get safe passage to home. In the happening of just one night this is fast paced no nonsense movie with many dangerous stunts and special effects in the strip joint. The cast of this film includes the big names like Harvey Kettle, George Clooney, Quentin Tarantino, Juliet Lewis, Ernest Liu, and Salma Hayek.

2- 30 Days of Night (2007)

This film is based in Barrow, Alaska, this little town is off the Arctic-Circle and is the host to the yearly "30 days of night," this is celebration becomes bloody and horror setting and during this winter festival the sun is not in view. The concept that vampires come out in the night is extended into hyper drive. Most of the town folks move to the Fairbanks to get some sun. The mysterious happenings starts with the arrival of a ship, the town is on the move and festival fever is all over. The lead is played by Ben Forester, as stranger who comes with a haunted ship. This arrival takes away the town's peaceful feel and mischief. There are fights, cell phones are jammed, stealing, killing of pet animals. The sheriff Edon Olsson played by Josh Hartnett finds the reason behind these mysterious happenings. This is fast paced drama with very twisted criminal on lose. It is` a perfect Halloween movie.

3- The Devil's Rejects (2005)

This movie is based in Ruggsville, Texas, the fast action and blood bath movie for Halloween. This action movie starts with police action on the criminal family called Devil's Rejects. This is done on the orders of Sheriff John Wydell. The police are only able to arrest the mother (Firefly). The trouble makers Otis B. Driftwood and Baby Firefly manage to escape. This leads to the plot after sub plot of revenge and twisted story line all over the town. The revenge is taken from the police families and they are taken hostage. There are some really bizarre and horror scenes in desert, including the captures, escapes, and murders of police families. Watch the movie and find out will the police catch the criminals?

4- Cannibal Holocaust (1980)

Even though this is on the fourth number in this list, but it is one of the most controversial and bold Halloween movie. The story unfolds in New York; an anthropologist Professor Harold on his research journey explores the wild South American. He becomes aware of the disappearance of the documentary film makers from US. The area is famous for its prehistoric and savage cannibal tribes living in the dense rain forest. The two guides help him to contact with the two tribes, Yakumo and the Yanamo. The sad discovery of the remains of the film making crew makes almost end of jungle explication. The remains also include the last diaries, and footage of crew. The professor takes them to New York and this begins his study about what had happened in the jungle? See this movie and find out for yourself what happen to those unfortunate crew members.

5- Pieces (1983)

In early 1983, this movie Pieces also called (Mil Gritos Tiene La Noche) was shown in theaters. Initially, the theaters did not receive it well, but when it came into the video, it instantly gained a status of cult horror movie. Either you love it or hate it to bits here is no middle ground, having said that you can't completely take it as blood bath on screen. The story unfolds with a teenager who hates his mother for nagging him. One day out of sheer rage and tyranny of hate he just kills her into pieces. Some 40 years after this same murder scenario is repeated. The detectives Chris, Frank, Linda and the amateur detective solve this puzzle Ian Sera. There is constant suspense throughout the movie as will they find the actual killer before there's another murder?

6- Re-Animator (1985)

This is a medical horror movie with many horror & thriller elements. The movie begins very innocently with the medical student getting involved in a strange impermanent on dead people. It includes all typical Halloween stuff such as a lot of cutting of body parts and blood. In the middle of it the girlfriend also gets involved and the bizarre leads to string of very sharp and funny incidents. This re-animation of dead people leads the students into big trouble rising dead people etc. But it is not entirely a horror movie, it has some humor sprinkled in the movie.

7- Evil Dead II (1987)

This is second in the Evil Dead series. This time the lead is Ash, and Linda they are young couple who did some experimenting with several reading of magic chants and words. During this experiment they accidentally open the doors to the evil forces. Entire story revolves around their attempt to survive from the attack of evil force. The book of dead holds many answers but they must find a way to get out of this cabin and the one night becomes an endless horror trip. This movie is also very popular in Halloween.

8- Saw VI (2009)

This is an adventure where the team is forced to face a series of obstacles. The completion of that leads to unlocking of the final step, a huge challenge for the team one can easily see. William is doing this to save Pamela William's sister; Tara and Brent also come to rescue. Tara is asked to kill William but she can't do it. The scene is full of the twisted torture like long needles and for piercing and torturing the poor soul.

9- Ichy the Killer (2001)

This film is the first of this series and it's really exceptional. The story begins when a Yakuza named Anjo takes away 300 million yen. The henchman, Kakihara comes with his mob to take back the money and kill him. Anjo runs away and in the process he has to fight for his life. Anjo comes out as a good marital arts player. The war starts and Ichi has to save him in front of the blades, swords and Ninja army. The final showdown is the real critical point of the movie.

11- Nikos (2003)

This is another good choice among the Halloween film craving. It is based in New York and this time the barbarian spirit is resurrected to torment the city. This happens due to a robbery attempt that opens doors to the ruthless barbarian evil that came from Romania. This starts a storm of events that lead to the city being tortured into pieces at many places. The art museum curators have to find a way to put away this barbarian before it sets loose into the city. The film has excellent camera work and special effects.

12- Brain-dead (1992)

This is another teenager's story of rampage, the lead Lionel, is ridiculed kid in school and home. The mother always taunts him. The child has the take care of the mother who is very dominating. He is not allowed to go out, but somehow he meets a women and fells in love but the mother will not allow him. She sabotages the dates, and ruins his chance of happiness. This makes the kid go crazy and he zombifies the mother, but she refuses to go away. Music of the movie is simply outstanding. Some special effects in the movie especially the zombifying is quite realistic.

It's almost ten years passed since Freddy first came into spotlight. After being killed and put away by his daughter Freddy is still restless. This time there is more to see as Jason in this movie is also quite violent. The new horror icon is no less than old fashioned vampires, as it can easily frighten anyone in dreams. The killing spree happens in this film in the Elm Street. Freddy is determined to strike the fear and terror again into the hearts of springwood.
