List of Vampire Wars Blood Magic (spin the wheel) Bonuses!

This mini-game lets you use blood (currency in the social game Vampire Wars) to spin Mandy's wheel. You'll get a random limited time (usually 4 hours) ability when doing so - it will either be a blessing or a curse! All of the wheel's options are listed below, along with what you'll get for landing on the spell.

The wheel game is purely random and based on luck - nothing in-game will help increase your chances of winning, nor is it based on what level you are.

Note that there a few trophies you can only win by playing Blood Magic: "Receive a Curse" for getting your first curse when spinning the wheel, and "Receive 8 Types of Blood Magic" for getting everything on the wheel. There's no way to check on the status of that trophy - you simply have to experience the curse and the 7 spells.

Each time you spin the wheel, everyone in your clan receives the bonus, and vice-versa. That's why most people in "add me" forums will claim that they are "frequent spinners" - you'll want people to spin the Blood Magic wheel often!

...She has cast Twilight's Grace on you. +X% bonus Energy

This will increase your energy limit by a percentage amount. I've gotten as high as 200% from a win of Twilight's Grace - be sure to use up your energy meter on jobs immediately, so that it can resume re-filling.

...She has cast Bloodlust on you.+X% Blood from Missions

Yet another spell you'll want to do missions with immediately afterward. It simply raises the amount of blood (currency) you get on all missions for a temporary amount of time.

...She has cast Warlock's Gift on you. All meters refill X% faster

This spell lessens the amount of time your Energy, Rage and Blood meters fill up. Obviously, it's in your best interest to stick around on the computer as long as you can until it wears off - get as many jobs and fights done while it lasts!

...She has cast Glyph of Wisdom on you. +X% XP from missions

Increased XP from missions means quite a bit when you're doing the upper level missions, which pay off a higher scale of XP than lower level missions. Complete as many missions as you can - this glyph combined with Warlock's Gift is great for leveling.

...She has cast Lilith's Kiss on you. +50% chance of rare loot from missions

In my opinion, the most worthless of all glyphs. Never once have I gotten anything rare after winning this one and doing multiple missions marked as giving rare abilities. From what I've heard, Exsanguinate and Locust Swarm are the abilities you can win.

...She has cast Demonic Strength on you. +X to base damage

This glyph will subtract X amount of points in a fight. Yet another one of the lesser powerful glyphs you'll come across in this game, it certainly won't mean much to higher level players.

...She has cast Glyph of Guile on you. +X% XP from combat

If you're not a fighter, this glyph is entirely worthless to you. Otherwise, you'll be pulling in a fractionally larger amount of experience for everyone you fight. Make sure you're fighting vampires with high Skill Rankings - otherwise, you might be getting 0 XP from the battle..and 0 + X% still equals 0!

...She has cast Witch's Curse on you. -X to base damage, -X% of cash on hand You lost XXX,XXX,XXX!

Ouch. This is the only risk you take when playing Mandy's wheel. The curse, as you can see, will weaken your fighting ability and take a random percentage away from your total amount of blood. This is why it's highly recommended to never play the wheel with anything more than the amount it costs to spin the wheel! You'll be sorry if you land on Witch's Curse with a lot of blood on hand!

It's also important to note that the only way to get the "Receive a Curse" trophy is to land on this at some point.

Witch's Curse is the only option on the wheel that will only affect you - it will not be applied to your entire vampire clan...only the good bonuses will :)
