How Blood Type Affects Your Health

The Key to Health and Vitality

Each person is unique, needing different forms of nourishment to be able to sustain their health and overall well being.

To enjoy a nice meal is one of the pleasures that life brings to us, but before that meal is presented to us it has to go through 'processes' (stages of cooking) and 'filters'.

The 'filters' that I am talking about refer to the decisions that each person makes as to what they will choose to eat, because, there are recommendations for the Mediterranean cuisine, a macrobiotic diet and not so long ago appeared a blood type science that brought to our attention the fundamental role that it plays in the 'triangle' blood type - diet - health.

There is no reason why people should not take a combination of these recommendations as they all have their benefits, as long as they have sufficient information about each of them.

Even though not many people take into consideration their blood type when they think about their diet, it represents a 'key' to the door of our health, vitality, response to stress and emotional equilibrium.

The expression, 'one person's food is another person's poison', is fully justified in this case. With the research of Peter D'Adamo into the affect of blood types, the food can be classified as being healthy, neutral or harmful to a person's well being.

Blood Type Diet Experience

The Benefits of a Blood Type Diet

The Reason For My Strong Belief

Because of a personal experience that occurred in my life I have a strong belief in the beneficial aspects of the blood type diet to my total health and well being.

Let me relate to you the circumstances that have given me this strong belief, at the age of thirty seven, I became pregnant, which motivated me to look for all information that would ensure that my baby's health would be perfect and that mine would be very good.

I stopped smoking, drinking alcohol and although many years ago I had already read something about blood type and the affect it can have on a person's health, I now revisited the subject.

From the seventh month of pregnancy I started to follow the diet that was recommended for my blood type, which I believe gave my body the resistance to combat the anaphylactic shock, due to an allergy to an antibiotic that I received in hospital, prior to my baby being born.

Both my baby and I experienced a full recovery from this situation, the doctors and nurses that attended to us expressed that this was a rare occurrence, but that they were impressed by the speed of our recovery.

Once I was at home with my baby boy, I continued to still follow the recommended blood type diet.

And in only eight weeks I had returned to the weight that I had before becoming pregnant.

I was able to wear all of my favourite clothes again and this was to the amazement of many of my family and friends.

And I found that I had an increased level of energy, which allowed me to easily cope with my 'new life' as a mother.

I also believe that the blood type diet was the reason for the good health of my baby during pregnancy and that the breast milk that I have since provided to him has had all the right nutritional qualities that are needed for his excellent growth and development.

A blood type diet? This sounds new to me, but I'm going to read more about this. I'm currently trying to optimize my health because of some reports on the possibilities of a DePuy Pinnacle recall - a recall on my hip replacement implant. This Pinnacle recall as some reports say, is a foreseeable crisis since it didn't go through thorough testing when it was marketed.
