Mixed Martial Arts is a brutal sport. Today MMA is the ultimate one on one sport where only the baddest of bad can survive and become successful. In order to be successful in MMA you have to be highly skilled in multiple disciplines of martial arts.
MMA fights can sometimes become the bloodiest of battles letting the fans see the true warrior spirit of these athletes. When thinking about the bloodiest MMA fights some think of a more recent fight like the fight between BJ Penn vs Joe Stevenson. Others think of the fight between Joe Stevenson vs Yves Edwards or Forrest Griffin vs Stephen Bonnar. So which is the bloodiest MMA Fight of all-time. PRIDE 33 - Second Coming
Nick Diaz breaks his orbital bone but manages to battle back and submit Gomi with a Go-Go plata. The fight was later ruled a no contest because Nick Diaz tested positive for marijuana.

Old School UFC Fight
This is an old school fight I selected just to remember the good old days of the UFC where there were basically no rules. The fighters didn't wear gloves back then its amazing how far the sport has progressed. The fight goes pretty quick with Beneteau taking down Asbel Cancio and then he goes to work. Cancio is left wondering why he got in the cage in the first place.

Edwin Dewees vs Gideon Ray voted by popular demand as one of the bloodiest fights ever. Dewees was a blond going into the fight and a redhead after the fight. Dewee's battled back and edged out a decision over Ray. Should this fight be higher on the list?Renato "Babalu" Sobral vs David Heath was another great bloody match. Probably one of the bloodest in recent memory. Babalu ends up getting David Heath to tap but he refuses to let go and puts Heath to sleep. This bout later resulted in Babalu being suspended from the UFC.
