I have discovered that there are some fantastic blu-ray collections out there in boxed sets. If you are a movie collector who, for instance, loves Harry Potter movies and wants to own them all on blu-ray, you will find that buying them as a boxed set is usually less expensive than buying them individually and sometimes even comes with some very nice bonuses.

The Wizard of Oz Blu-ray is a tough one to find. Before Christmas, I was unable to buy a copy of the blu-ray alone...it was buy the set or don't buy the movie as the movie alone had been discontinued. Hopefully, that will change in the near future but in the meantime, fans have this beautiful Wizard of Oz boxed gift set to consider. Real fans will love the extras; I would absolutely LOVE to see the extra footage. This collector's edition set includes many blu-ray discs packed with many hours of extra footage!

My teenage sons received a fantastic Harry Potter gift set this year from their Grandparents. They received a blu-ray copy of the latest Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and a copy of Clue Harry Potter both of which were very popular choices! Harry Potter enthusiasts will want to own all the movies! The game, with all the Harry Potter themes, is an excellent and more in depth version of Clue.

Rocky: The Undisputed Collection is in an unusual situation in that if you want to own ALL the Rocky films on blu-ray you have to buy the set. Although, judging by what is included and the price, that may not be a bad thing. The features are extensive.
