He says that he and his family eagerly anticipated Beauty and the Beast on blu-ray disc and purchased it right away. They were then awestruck at how well the movie was restored. He felt that the picture was nothing less than stunningly perfect, vibrant and natural and said that it was hard to watch the film because the picture was so well done.
He closed by saying, "No matter what version you watch this in, you are bound to have a great movie time as a family. But watching it on blu-ray was beyond my greatest expectations. He has done his job of compacting trash well but is starting to show some human ways and he falls in love with a robot named Eve...
Apparently, Wall-E is a funny movie in which the characters travel across the universe. I have not seen Wall-E yet but it is high on my list to see. The fact that it ranked as the best blu-ray movie of 2008 means I should see it soon!

We used an earlier edition of this book extensively when our boys were growing up and, as a matter of fact, I still use it when I want to look up information about an older movie. I frequently quote The Movie Mom on my movie pages and am thrilled to be able to recommend her book to you now. Because this version was printed in 2004, it will not cover all the latest family friendly movies but if you are looking for a resource book for countless wonderful older movies you are interested in watching with your young children, I don't think you will find a better aid.

- We have 3 of the 5 movies on Blu-ray and they are awesome! Tinkerbell, Sleeping Beauty, and Snow White. Love watching them with our little granddaughter, Isabel. I am so loving our blu-ray player...what difference it makes! Even on the DVD's!
