Now if I could just find a true blue-violet colored light (instead of the fuschia they call "purple") I'd be in heaven.

It seems like every house in the south of England has blue Christmas lights this year. To me it doesn't look right - it looks cold and eerie. I much prefer the traditional Red, Green and Yellow lights, which look so warm and jolly. But that's just me... I think blue might look better if there was a foot of snow on the ground.
