Here are a list of the blue flowers that are on the slide show in order. I will continue to update because there are many more. So keep checking back.
  1. Centaurea cyanus: Aka, the corn flower. A native of europe these flowers are endangered but seeds can be purchased and planted in your garden. Symbolizes men in love and can be used in a Boutonnière or as a garnish in food... it is sometimes used in tea. Will flower for weeks and is now in season for August.
  2. Campanula: aka, the Bell Flower. It flowers in the summer and is planted in the fall.
  3. Catanache caerula: Aka: Cupids Dart. They are a native of the Mediterranean region and is said to be used in a love potion. These are a Garden Flower that are great for dried arrangements.
  4. Caryopteris: Aka, Blue Mist. This is a shrub that needs dry and sunny area. Makes a good low border.
  5. Clematis: AKA: travelers Joy They are an evergreen plant and are great for beginning Gardeners.
  6. Aconitum:aka Monkshood is native to the mountainous regions of the Northern Hemisphere. It needs well draining soiland prefers mountains to grow on. May be poisonous.
  7. Anchusa Capansis: Aka, "summer forget me not" flowers in the late spring and summer. Needs sun but tolerate partial shade. The buds are red and then bloom blue.
  8. Brunerra Macrophylla-AKA,Jack Frost, Blooms Blue Flowers in mid spring but they are tiny. They grow in the shade.
  9. Aquillagia: Aka, Blue Barlow I really do not know much about this one but it is very beautiful.
  10. Baptisia Australis- Aka Blue wild Indigo is native to North America and is commonly found in the midwest. This plant can get as tall as 5 feet however it is said to be toxic.
  11. Agastache: Aka, Blue Fortune. Here is a plant dearly loved by butterflies and are very fragrant. They need well drained soil and full to partial sun.
  12. Water Lillie: There are blue ones!
  13. Agapanthus: Aka, Lily of the Nile is native to South America.
  14. Aster, Grows in all zones and is a common garden flower.
  15. Anemone Blanda: AKA Wind Flowers are ground cover and bloom in early spring. They look purple to me though.
  16. Allium: Is classified under the onion species because of it's bulbs that have characteristics of onions.
