Blujay.com Versus eCrater.com...which is for you?

There are two free marketplaces on the web that have really stood out and given eBay a run for their money..thats Blujay.com and eCrater.com
Both are Free Marketplaces. Both have good sellers.
Both have alot of items to choose from, So which is better? Well I am NOT to say which is "better" for you...only YOU can decide that. but there are some definate differences between the two.

Also on Blujay Sellers stores are showcased at random so everyone has a time in the spotlight on the first page. No one can "buy" a spot there. Every store is treated equal...no matter how big or small it is.

Blujay.com does NOT have a bulk lister..every item is done one by one ..so when you view a Blujay Store, think of the countless hours of dedication it took that seller to list everything!

Also Blujay.com is a Family Friendly site...no Sex catagory! Yes, sometimes the "sex" ads get on but the other sellers quickly report them.

Ecrater.com

Says 100% Free BUT:

Here is the difference...on eCrater you can BUY your way to the top! No "level" playing field, it is who has the money gets the most exposure.

And eCrater.com DOES have a catagory titled "Sex Stuff"

eCrater does have a bulk lister option. So they can list many items without too much work.

On a Great website, Powersellersunite.com, a seller known as "Patchdog" Has posted a challenge. A Listing Challenge to all Blujay and ecrater sellers to see which site can post the most listings in the month of July! Read about it! BluJay And eCrater July Listing Contest!

Now as I stated above...eCrater has a bulk lister and Blujay does not. So eCrater has an advantage from the start. That said, I feel Blujayers will be giving it more effort and could very well walk off with this!

Now what does all this mean to the average Joe? Well with this listing war going on you are going to find all sorts of great new items at both sites!

It IS OVER!

Or IS it???

It is now August and the contest is done. eCrater's DID out list Blujay...but that WAS expected since they can bulk list there. Also Blujay had serveral good size stores pulled at the beginning for selling things that where in voilation of policy, putting Blujay at a disavantage to start. BUT it was alot of fun and I REALLY dont think it is over.
eCrater and Blujay are BOTH good strong marketplaces with great sellers, quality products and some of the best prices online! And the sellers here WILL always have a Friendly competion going! Do yourself a favor and visit the wonderful stores listed here...you will be glad you did!
