Or, perhaps more specifically, what made me choose the Blurex iPad keyboard folio in the first place?

Well, I do a lot of typing on my iPad 2 for work, which involves both note taking and plenty of email writing. I actually bought the tablet to replace my laptop, so naturally I was expecting it to be as good, if not even better than the retired computer. Needless to say though, the touchscreen keyboard just wasn't for me, which is why I came to the conclusion that I needed the best iPad case with keyboard on the market to keep up with my typing fluency.

Anyhow, I decided on the Blurex leather iPad keyboard case for one main reason above all else - it had a full set of genuine laptop keys made out of hard plastic. Now, you might be questioning why this hard plastic keyboard is such a big deal? Well, the answer is because virtually every alternative makes use of a soft rubber key set that I just couldn't type with. In fact, I found the soft rubber harder to use than the touchscreen!

So all in all, if you're a heavy iPad typer and you've gone from being a keyboard whiz to a messy speller with the touchscreen, this product will be to your liking. It's especially competent in situations where you need to be taking down notes at a swift pace.

This was definitely one of the deciding factors that convinced me to proceed to checkout. After dealing with a silicone skin and another flimsy faux leather case, it was about time that I found a case that was worthy of protecting my iPad 2.

Previously, when I had the silicone skin, I just couldn't bring my tablet to work with me for fear of the damage it would accumulate on the journey in. However, with the Blurex it was a completely different ball game and that was predominantly down to the full protection it offered on all sides and at all angles. As you would expect from high quality leather, the Blurex leather iPad keyboard case was tough, durable and, most importantly, ensured that my tablet stayed safe when jostling around in my bag on the way to work. Thanks to this durability, I'm still enjoying that pristine glossy touchscreen finish to this day!

The leather iPad 2 case even offers full access to all sockets and buttons, as well as allowing full function of the camera, so I wasn't having to remove the case unnecessarily for any reason whatsoever.

The final feature that I found ideal for my work-based environment was the tilt function, allowing me to essentially emulate a laptop with the convenient screen angle being just right for my eye level. This saved me having to arch over the flat tablet and have the screen mostly taken up by the touchscreen keyboard!

Now, it may come across that I've not really highlighted any negative aspects of this product, but on this rare occasion, that's simply because there aren't any! The only obstacle I can see coming in the path of any buyer is potentially the price, but then again, considering this is a keyboard case hybrid, you'd struggle to find a similar product for anywhere near double the price of the Blurex!
