The first of four Bob Baker Classic Westerns - "SINGING OUTLAW" (Released: 23 January 1938) (57 mins/B&W) --- Our story line and plot, Scrap Gordon (Bob Baker) comes along just as the outlaw Cueball (Harry Woods) and the Marshall Samuel J. Fairfax (Jack Montgomery) kill each other --- To bring in the local outlaw gang he joins them posing as Cueball --- But when the Sheriff captures him with the gang he now thinks he actually is Cueball and Scrap finds himself slated to be hung for the Marshal's murder --- featuring supporting cast of Joan Barclay, Fuzzy Knight, Harry Woods, Carl Stockdale, LeRoy Mason, Glenn Strange, Budd Buster, I. Stanford Jolley, Jack Kirk and Lafe McKee.
Second feature - "BORDER WOLVES" (Released: 25 February 1938) (56 mins/B&W), Our plot line, Carson's (Jack Dorell) an outlaw gang attack and murder a covered wagon train --- riding along Rusty Reynolds (Bob Baker) and Clem Barrett (Fuzzy Knight) are arrested of the crime --- Rusty vows to track down the real culprits --- Judge Coleman (Oscar O'Shea) knows of their innocense and sets them freek to trail and capture the Carson Gang --- will Baker and Knight join the gang and bring them in for trial, or will they be arrested again --- wonderful supporting cast with Fuzzy Knight, Constance Moore, Dickie Jones, Willie Fung, Oscar O'Shea, Glenn Strange, Ed Cassidy, Jack Montgomery, Dick Dorrell and Hank Bell.
In this third feature - "GUILTY TRAILS" (Released: 21 October 1938) (57 mins/B&W), the story thus far, Banker Eason (Jack Rockwell) uses Steve Yates (Carlton Young) to stage a fake holdup and in the ensuing chase and gunfight Eason kills Lawson. Sheriff Bob Higgins (Bob Baker) was in the chase and in the confusion thinks he killed him --- turning in his badge as Sheriff he later finds Yates gold piece at the scene. But just as he is about to get a confession from Yates, Eason shoots Yates --- can Bob Baker bring justice to his fair town, will all go well in this exciting oater, don't miss another episode and stay tuned --- supporting cast Marjorie Reynolds, Wally Wales, Georgia O'Dell, Jack Rockwell, Carleton Young, Forrest Taylor, Glenn Strange, Jack Kirk and Tom London.
And the final oater - "THE LAST STAND" (Released: 1 April 1938) (56 mins/B&W), the plot and story line, involves cattle rustling, murder and pure excitement with some fancy gunplay as our hero and star Tip Douglas/Laredo Kid (Bob Baker) is trailing some cattle rustlers, as they've murdered his father --- working undecover as notorious outlaw Baker gets in with the gang --- who is the leader of this gang, could it be Thorn Evans (Earle Hodgins) who pulled the trigger on his father --- Baker and sidekick Pepper (Fuzzy Knight) need to know when the next raid and where, as they set a trap --- featured supporting cast Constance Moore, Fuzzy Knight, Earle Hodgins, Forrest Taylor, Glenn Strange, Sam Flint , Jimmy Phillips and Jack Kirk - - - - - Special footnote, Fuzzy Knight was the sidekick with his comical ways in many B-Westerns in the '30s & '40s with Johnny Mack Brown, Bob Baker and Tex Ritter, finally landing a co-starring role with Buster Crabbe on the small tube in the TV series "Captain Gallant of the Foreign Legion" (1955) as Private Fuzzy Knight
