- I met you today and didn't realize who you were, today, I read your story and I only wish now I had spent more time talking with you and less time helping change your flat tire. What a great story and inspirational man you are. It was an honor to meet you. Thanks for your service to the country and giving so much of yourself to inspire others.

- My son lost both of his legs less than a year ago on August 22,2010. They said he would not make it out of the hospital. But, he did and he's not on any machines or medicine. We would love to meet you someday soon! Thank you for inspiring all of us.

- Bob, I have used the video "I Let My Walkin Do My Talkin" in working with teens for the last fifteen years. Every time I see it I am inspired all over again. I know that the kids see it too and feel the same way. They often ask if you are still around and what you are doing. Looks like you are keeping busy. You are truly an inspiration to others, and I hope that some where, you find some inspiration for yourself. Thanks for the help in getting kids to think more positively about their futures. - Hello Bob, On June 14, 1969 I turned 18 years old. On June 14, 1969, I graduated from the same High School as you, Greenfield High School. On June 14, 1969, you had both legs blown off in Vietnam. These events have been more than just a coincidence for me. You will always be on of my hero's. As you and as the bible has always said: "...for my power is made perfect in weakness.....For when I am weak, then I am strong."
2 Corinthians 12:9-10. Thank you for leading by example.

- Thank you Bob for being such an inspiration. We volunteer for an organization who seeks to enable children and adults with disabilities. This is done through sports, while aiding them in water skiing & snow skiing, etc. This is done without any cost to the participants and volunteers. We have a Fundraising Gala each year to kick off the program. It would be wonderful if you could join us as a guest speaker to provide inspiration and broaden our focus of other posibilities for those challenged with disabilities. Thanks. www.Societyforhandicapped.org

- I met Bob many years ago in Sharon/Hermitage PA on his pass through on his hands. Our Org. met with him and gave him a small award in appreciation. We were and still are a little Bastard Vietnam Veterans Organization (Mercer County (PA) Vietnam Veterans Assoc.) but we were all inspired by this superhuman effort that Bob put forth. He will always be remembered... Be well Brother and keep on doing the good work you do for ALL Veterans. By the way.... he has a hell of a grip in an handshake. Welcome Home Bob.

- Hi Bob I was priviledged today to see and hear you at Grace Church of Humble. You certainly are an inspiration to all. I felt guilty for fretting over issues of my own life, when you suddenly put everything into perspective. Our God is a Big God and you have never forgotten that. Thank you for encouraging me and others. May God Bless you always.
