Body Shop Seaweed Ionic Clay Mask

Firstly, before applying this mask is that your face should be CLEAN and DRY.

When applying, only apply a THIN AMOUNT to your face (you can also try it on your neck as well). Too much is not going to make it work ten times better. Too much of something can make it too harsh or irritated. Remember FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS. Plus if you have too much on, it would make it much difficult for it to dry and to wash the mask off as well!

Also if you are planning on using a cucumber or what not on your eye area, apply the face mask leaving a space to put the vegetable or fruit of your choice over your eyes.

Tip: You can use a makeup brush to make the product apply more smoother on your face. If not, use your fingers and remember to only apply a thin amount.

The picture (above) is the Body Shop Seaweed Ionic Mask on my hand. This is how the product will look on your face (thinly applied).

Leave the treatment mask on to dry for about 10 minutes (I would recommend 10 minutes being the minimum). Leaving it on for only 5 minutes would 1) not dry fully and 2) not give your skin the proper benefits in your end results. You can walk around, watch some tv and just do something else while waiting for the mask to dry, instead of standing in your bathroom :)

When the mask is fully dry, all you have to do is GENTLY wash it off with some WARM water. You can use a sponge to help to easily remove the mask off your face if you must. For me, I just use my hands.

Even though I wash off the face mask with warm water, whenever I am done and have to go out later, I would wash my clean face with cold water to quickly tighten my pores up. :)
