Ah, the search to get in shape. You all strive to stay fit. It is an easier task for some than it is for other. Whether you want to be a body builder with 6 pack abs or you just want to get in shape, here are 5 common misconceptions about getting in shape:

I have not used this guys program, but I like the way he thinks.

1. Spending a bazzillion dollars on Bowflex or what ever the latest machine is. It is most likely not going to do it.

2. Listening to Pro Bodybuilders - This is probably not for you and me. These guys get 'help' a lot of times, if you know what I mean. You don't want to go that route.

3. Magazines - Many are just a form for the supplement companies, so you may not be getting the straight dope from these things. Be careful. I smell bias.

4. Speaking of supplements - There are many, many, many studies out there that will tell you supplements don't really work. I recommend you take a look at these before you spend $1000's on these things.

5. Time - You don't have to spend 80 hours a week in the gym to get results.

Body building tips and muscle building workouts are over blown. It is a very competitive market and people want to prey on the fact that most people want the easy way out. It really is not rocket science and there is really no magic bullet. Some simple straight forward diet and workout schedules will produce the results you are looking for.
