As they all drift in . . .

The most ironic oxymoron ever created:
"Killed by friendly fire."

The Last Thing On A Bug's Mind . . .
In the Great Scheme Of All Things, from the subatomic to the galactic, the instantaneous to the infinite, I seriously doubt that the rise and continuation of humanity is such a significant event.

Name Dropping; is it good?
I was wondering about endorsements, such as Bush being in favor or standing behind someone 100%. Could that ever be a good thing?

If a guy has both of his legs amputated at the knees, does he have to change his height and weight on his drivers license?

Inexcusable Insights
In our political party system, we foster a habit of establishing two types of politicians. One could be called the running duck. This one will focus all time, energy and money to get into and stay in office. The second one is the ultimate end product of the system, the lame duck. 01/05/08

A couple of thots today. One is that I realize that I am not the same person that I remember I was when I was 30. I don't even know if I'd like that guy. He seems like a stranger now. Another is that I have reached that age where I have to worry about getting a heart attack if I shovel snow, I start thinking about what it is I'm gonna catch, if anything that is gonna do me in. Cancer, accident or is my liver gonna get me? Huh. Too much to think about tonight. Sometime, it just ain't worth the 'what-ifs'. 03-10-08

The one disturbing thing about a woman having a bikini wax is that you can never tell if a woman is a true redhead.

Legacy
President George W Bush is quite concerned about his legacy. He is waiting for the historians to re-write everything to show that he made the right decisions to invade Iraq, destroy civil rights and decimate our economy. What he has failed to recognize is the fact that his is the first presidency to be exposed to the blinding truth of the internet. The truth that he is blind to however is the fact that the history has already been written. It has been written, recorded and preserved by the blogs, news articles, videos and general observations of everyone who makes, or has ever made any electronic input. He has been tried and judged daily by millions of people as they record their frustration and anger directly as no other generation of voters has ever been able to do.
