Bolt the Wonder-Dog to the rescue!
What does Miley Cyrus aka Hannah Montana and John Travolta have in common? The best computer animated film in 2008, that's what. Bolt is sure to be a block-buster. It has everything: a hero dog, a sassy cat, a spunky hamster, and a girl in distress.

Bolt Movie Premise
The movie is about a dog movie-star who is accidentally shipped from the studio in Hollywood to New York City. Bolt (voice of John Travolta), a white German Shepherd, believes he has powers and can perform amazing feats in real life as he does on the show. He begins a cross-country trip to find his owner, Penny (voice of Miley Cyrus).On his journey, Bolt kidnaps an abandoned cat named Mittens (voice of Susie Essman) and gets a helper in the guise of a hamster name Rhino (voice of Mark Walton). Rhino is a TV fanatic so he knows Bolt and is bursting with enthusiasm at the opportunity to help Bolt find Penny.

Bolt is quite a character. He finds himself in an unknown and therefore bad situation and sensing that his owner, Penny, is in danger, he travels across country to save her.He is determined and energetic if not more than a little delusional since he thinks he possesses all of these powers. In the end, does he find out that he does have powers? Go see the movie and find out.
Mittens, the abandoned cat
Mittens is a fun character. A cat who has been abandoned would be jaded and she is. She adds a certain reality to the movie by being a "stray" cat. She also adds to the reality of ASPCA's campaign to save the unwanted, discarded animals.For information on feral cats and TNR, click Save Feral Cats

Rhino, the hamster
Rhino the hamster, in my opinion, is set to steal the show. He is a daredevil. When Bolt says to him, "This could be dangerous." The little guy replies, "I eat danger for breakfast."And, when Bolt says they need to find a fast set of wheels, he says, "I'll go get my ball." Cute, cute, cute!

You too can help solve the problem of abandoned cats and dogs. Millions are killed every year in shelters across the United States alone. Here's 4 things you can do:
1. Adopt an abandoned cat or dog from your local shelter.
2. Support organizations such as the ASPCA and Alley Cat Allies to end the killing in shelters and save feral cats.
3. Spay or neuter your own cat or dog, and
