type=text

They include: GEORGE LAZENBY, PIERCE BROSNAN, SEAN CONNERY, TIMOTHY DALTON, ROGER MOORE, and DANIEL CRAIG

Meet The Author

type=textIan Lancaster Fleming was born in Green Street in London on 28th May 1908. During World War 2 he worked as assistant to the Director of Naval Intelligence in the Admiralty in London and was privy to many secrets. It was his experience in this job that was to provide many of the characters and incidents that he was to write about later in the Bond books.
In 1952, at the age of 43, he settled down in his house in Jamaica, and produced - in not much more than two months - Casino Royale, the first adventure of James Bond.
The rest, as they say, is spy history.

James Bond Films

Sean Connery

type=textBefore James Bond, Sean Connery was a little-known actor just starting his career. He had some starring roles but never seemed to land that role that would make him a star. By the time he finally left the EON produced Bond series after Diamonds Are Forever (1971), he was both a household name and an actor of international repute.
Sean Connery starred as James Bond a total of 7 times.

DR.NO

Neither suspects the lengths to which SPECTRE would go to eliminate Bond.

THE Bond Car....

type=textAfter the release of Goldfinger in 1964, I wonder what the sales figures were for Aston Martin.
How many people wanted to drive the James Bond car ??
There have been many cars since then, but this is truly the definitive 007 Vehicle !!

THUNDERBALL

He then leads a party of ninjas to take out Blofeld's operation.

VILLAINS --- Ernst Stavro Blofeld and SPECTRE

George Lazenby

type=textAlthough only playing 007 on one occasion, George Lazenby brought to the role a younger more physical James Bond in On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Lazenby was offered a 7 movie deal by the Bond producers EON, but quit the role, because he felt that the tuxedo clad Bond would die out in the new hippie culture that had permeated society in the late 60s and early 70s.
Bond producer Cubby Brocolli, remarked that Lazenby could have been the best Bond had he not quit after just one film.

ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE

VILLAINS --- Ernst Stavro Blofeld and SPECTRE

Roger Moore

type=textAlthough Roger Moore's name was mentioned in the original Bond casting search, his commitment to the TV series The Saint precluded him from being seriously considered for the role. But he did eventually take over from Sean Connery in 1973.
Moore brought a new lightweight attitude to the role of 007. His Bond, which really came into its own with The Spy Who Loved Me, was more relaxed and lighter in tone than Connery's, and he brought a tongue-in-cheek humour to the series which gave the films a different dimension as he developed with the series.
Roger Moore was Agent 007 in seven films.
