For any food lover who loves chicken recipes this would be an interesting dish. This delicious dish is usually served with parathas, roti, pulav, naan, fried rice etc. This dish is believed to be first introduce in Moti Mahal in Daryaganj, Delhi. It is also believed that Butter chicken is known since Mughal's in India for more than a 1000 years. This dish can be made with chicken with or without bones.

Is also known as 'Murgh makhani', part of Indian Cuisine. Now a popular dish in countries all over the globe. The origin can be traced back to 'Moti Mahal' in Daryaganj, New Delhi. Butter chicken is usually served with naan, roti, parathas or steamed rice. 'Chicken tika masala' is a similarly colored dish, of which people get confused.

Ingredients

Boneless Chicken - 800g
Tomato pure - 300ml
Brown Onion Paste - 50g
Ginger Paste - 30g
Garlic Paste - 30g
Red Chilly Powder - 1tsp
Garam masala (optional) - 10g
Sugar - 10g
Cooking Butter - 150g
Water - 150ml
Fresh Cream - 50ml
Salt - To taste

Apply 50g of butter to the chicken pieces and cook in mighty wonder for 5 minutes on high. Mix all the ingredients except fresh cream in a separate bowl. Add chicken pieces to this and cook in mighty wonder for 7 minutes and stir. Now cook in mighty wonder for another six minutes and stir. Add cream and cook in Mighty wonder for two minutes. Butter chicken is ready. Garnish the contents with curry leaves and cut capsicum.
