Bono could just sit back and reap the rewards of a job well done and stay focused on his music career but he doesn't and he steps outside, lending his voice to something extremely important, I'm impressed. I've been a U2 Fan since forever. Great Lense.

I'm a big fan of U2 and Bono's work to end poverty. Thank you for introducing the Africa Loves U2 album. I missed hearing about it somehow when it came out. Unfortunately, it looks like the website is gone now, just a parked domain.

I suspect Bono has a sense of humor about people poking fun at him for his crusading against poverty and other major world problems. "No good deed goes unpunished," as they say. I admire him for using his massive sphere of influence to promote change. 5* and a fave, plus I'm rolling this to squidoo.com/unforgettable-fire-remastered

Is the monetary aid, that Bono provides, really helping countries in need? Or is it just continuing the cycle of poverty. Join the debate, should we continue to give aid those in need?

Good job on a positive lens. A lot of people are jeaous of him because what is he? Just another rich rock star. Not so. How many people are willing to put the time and effort in that he does. Being a good businessman, he knows using his celeb status will get him in to see many important people. So why shouldn't he do it?

It's a cheap shot against a lot of activist celebs (IMO) to criticize them. Because how many of those who critcize them get invovled? Not many. Just one view.
