A Bookworms Lensography of Book Reviews and Authors

For as long as I can remember I have been a bit of a bookworm with my nose stuck in a book. I am also a bit addicted to writing lenses here at Squidoo as BevsPaper. It only seems natural that I would combine the two with writing articles about books that I have read and some of the authors that I enjoy.

My list of book reviews and author articles has begun to grow large enough that I thought it might be a good idea to have all of those articles in one easy to find place. That is where I got the idea to create a lensography of all of my book related articles.

I hope you enjoy your visit...

Fiction or Nonfiction from the Bookworm

BooksPersonally, I prefer fiction novels over nonfiction books. It is just my own preference. Besides reading mysteries and fantasy fiction, I also really enjoy an historical novel a great deal. I've been known to crack open a Science Fiction book from time to time, too.

I love the escape into a great story and I do not ever limit myself to a specific genre in fiction. A good author knows how to churn out a tale that grabs your interest and keeps you reading until the end. So for me, it matters not what category the book has been placed in but the story written by the author.

Fiction Literature is:

an invented story where the author uses their imagination to create the persons and places that make up the plot.

Seven Deadly Wonders - Book Review
If you love an exciting action packed thriller, you must read Seven Deadly Wonders by Matthew Reilly. Here is a review.

Both, both, but for pure pleasure it is fiction!

I read both, but love to get lost in a great novel.

Nonfiction, I want the facts ma'am...just the facts.

OhMe says:

Either one really. I am reading a true WWII survival story right now - Unbroken - and really enjoying it so I am going choose Nonfiction

kimmanleyort says:

I love fiction but probably read more non-fiction, i.e. Books about ideas, people, spirituality, etc.
