BookRenter Review: Renting Textbooks at BookRenter.com

Ranked #619 in Books, #41,011 overall

My Official Bookrenter Review

For many college students, buying books can drastically cut into expenses. Upon beginning each term we are distributed financial aid checks for buying books and living expenses throughout the term. From there we are faced with the decision of where to buy our books. The majority of students don't even think twice and just go straight to the book store for all of their course materials.

Now the problem with this is that your total cost of books will end up being the highest they can possibly be. Personally I wanted to maximize the amount of money left in my pocket after buying my books so I had to get resourceful. In the beginning I would shop around town for used books in an attempt to save a few bucks but it was never that substantial. But than I stumbled upon BookRenter.com and I realized I could save at least $100 each term on my book expenses, sometimes more.

The BookRenter System

How the BookRenter System Works

My Experience with BookRenter.com

I have used BookRenter for three terms now and saved hundreds

After having a great experience with BookRenter I decided to write this review and give a brief overview of how the system works as simple as it may be. Your first step when using BookRenter is log on to your school website and find out which books you will need. Now you are ready to visit bookrenter.com and you will see a very simple user interface. You can use the search box to enter either the ISBN, Title, or Author and find the books you need. So far I have always found exactly which book I am looking for without any problem.

BookRenter allows the following rental periods -- 30, 45, 60, 90, and 120 days which should work for all term lengths. The great thing about BookRenter is you don;t have to pay for return shipping. When they send the book they include a return UPS sticker free of charge.

This is Totally Awesome information! I have one child in college and one child who is a college professor. They could both use the infor. I am emailing the link for this lens to each of them, I am lensrolling this lens to my College Dorm Room lens and I am adding it to the featured lenses on my Squid Angel Mouse Tracks lens. You have taken all of the guesswork out of the process of using the service, and clearly stated the benefits. Wish this service had been around when I was in college... oh well!
    Nicely done lens-
