Jaealoo, on the savings table above comparing the campus bookstore to bookrenter, are you comparing rental prices side-by-side or the costs of buying new textbooks from the campus store to renting at bookrenter? If the latter, you should truthfully give an example as many college campus stores now also offer book rental programs--with the convenience of students being able to pick up and drop off as well as the pricing being pretty competitive, especially once you factor in time and costs for shipping. Just my two-cents…

This is Totally Awesome information! I have one child in college and one child who is a college professor. They could both use the infor. I am emailing the link for this lens to each of them, I am lensrolling this lens to my College Dorm Room lens and I am adding it to the featured lenses on my Squid Angel Mouse Tracks lens. You have taken all of the guesswork out of the process of using the service, and clearly stated the benefits. Wish this service had been around when I was in college... oh well!
    Nicely done lens-

Yeah I am going to give bookrenter a try for the winter term and see how much I can save. It seems like a really legit service as long as you remember to send the books back on the correct date. I am going to compare the total cost of my books at my university books store to bookrenter and post another comment with my total savings. Thanks for the review

Awesome! Definitely renting my books next term. Financially, it doesn't make sense not to. Plus, it will take away the hassle of locating used books to buy and trying to sell them for a decent price. Thanks for taking the time to write this review of BookRenter!
