I've become more mindful over the past few years after reading several books by Thich Nhat Hanh. It is definitely a lifelong pursuit and one worth pursuing. Thanks for this great resource lens, I will definitely be adding these to my reading list!

I read Awakening the Buddha Within and it was wonderful. I also highly suggest Letting Go of the Person You Used to Be: Lessons on Change, Loss, and Spiritual Transformation by the same author. It is a very enlightening read.

What the Buddha Taught, by Walpola Rahula, there is no Book on this planet as honest and as close to what Buddha taught to us, most of all other books do manipulate the truth and lies about Buddhism, atleast there is lots of Myths added to Buddha's teachings, that is not true. Buddha do not believe in God, do not believe in any myths and Buddha does not believe in rebirth, soul and such shits, so anyone who talks about all those things are simply Liars. If you really would like to know the truth about Buddha, then read no other than Walpola Rahula's Book, then if you wish go ahead and read all the books in the world, nothing will move you as Walpola Rahula's ground breaking honesty.

Great source for readers who are curious about Buddhism. I read a Siddhartha Gitthama(sp?) biography by Thich Nat Hahn a few years ago and strongly recommend it. SquidAngel Blessed.

Great list, thank you! Are you familiar with "Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind" by Shunryu Suzuki, Roshi? Or "Wild Awakening" by the Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche? Also very good.

I've always wanted to read more books on Buddhism, but there are so many to choose from! Your guide is very helpful indeed - Peace Is Every Step will most likely be the first one :)
