    She did a lot of good things for the publishing industry and for reading, but I must confess I never much cared for the majority of her selections and tended to be more disappointed in her choices overall. And she did get into a bit of a snit when Franzen dissed her. :)

    Actually I haven't read many of these, but I loved so many of the titles ( and we choose the book for the title, don't we?)
