Top 5 Books on Wealth

Before 2009 I was a student of the idea that states you have to "spend money to make money". Well, after a few years of taking risks which I thought were necessary to "make it" in life, I found myself in a deep, deep financial hole. It was September 2009, and I was about $35,000 in credit card debt, when I realized I had to make some dramatic changes immediately. I felt like I was sinking daily...and like there was no way that I would ever get out of debt, at least not any time soon. Fortunately, I came across my first book on how to be smart with your money and on building wealth. This book really turned the lights on for me, and I realized after reading it, that if one wants to make and keep a lot of their money, they have to be educated on how to use it. So, I got started on making some changes in my life by aiming to read as many books on financial intelligence as I could. After I got started on this road to becoming more money conscious, I have not looked back. My $35,000 debt was paid off only 14 months after I started implementing the ideas I acquired from the books that I am listing on this page, and I have since acquired a sizable, and continually increasing amount of wealth.

Therefore, this page is about some of the best books on wealth and financial intelligence that I've come across. I hope you will find the recommendations I put forth valuable.

The Top Books on Wealth

  • 1Richest Man In Babylon by George S. Clayson

This book is "the" book that had given me the biggest kick in the but. The story showed me all of the things that many people do wrong financially, and it exposed me to all of the financial decisions that I had been making in error too. It is a very simple read, and educates you subtly on the powerful financial ideas one must know, and practice, if they are to ever acquire wealth. I think you will certainly enjoy this book because of it is easy to read style, and because it is in story form. Plus, it is a book that you can read in a single sitting. This book is essential for anyone who is serious about learning how to acquire wealth, and then keep it. If you are interested in reading some reviews of this book, can just go to The Richest Man in Babylon.

  • 2Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill

This book does indeed contain a secret, one that has undoubtedly been put to a practical test by thousands of people from every walk of life. I know this book contains the most powerful fundamentals that a person needs to know, in order to create the wealth one seeks in their life. This book is potentially life changing. One does have to have faith in the principles. If one follows the specific tactics which are outlined throughout the book, and applies them with persistence, I can't imagine that ones goals wouldn't be reached. If you really want to get the most out of his material, this book will need to be studied. The book cost a couple of dollars, but it is worth much, much more. • 3The Automatic Millionaire by David Bach

The Automatic Millionaire is a critical read for any who have not been able to get their finances moving in the direction desired. The principles covered in this book are not new, but they are provided to the reader in a way that can help them remember how simple it can be to start taking simple actions towards wealth creation. Sometimes we don't need to learn anything new about creating wealth, we just need to be reminded of the things we already know. Most of this book is like this, but it is a good reminder to build good wealth habits. Hence, it is one of the best books on wealth. You can learn more about this excellent book on automatic wealth building by clicking The Automatic Millionaire.

  • 4Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki

Some of Kiyosaki's ideas are overly simplistic, and quite frankly, can be dangerous to one's financial well being if his ideas are not taken with a bit of perspective and caution. However, his ideas are unbeatable for the individual who is new to thinking about money. The main reason I recommend his book so much on building wealth, is because he has the ability to knock down some of our long held beliefs about money. He tells a great story about his real dad (poor dad), and his best friend's dad (rich dad), and relays how the financial habits that each lived by directly affected the results that each one got. So, if you are not sold on the fact that you too can make lots of money some day, then perhaps this book is for you. If you want to learn more about this book on wealth just click on Rich Dad Poor Dad.

  • 5Affirmations for Wealth by John Alexandrov

Okay, this is on my top 5 Best Books on Wealth for two reasons. The first is, this book provides an amazing introduction that includes an assessment for its readers. The assessment can take up a little time, but once you are done with this assessment, you will have gained some crucial "golden" nuggets of self-knowledge, that can put you onto the path of acquiring wealth. The book, if you following the guidelines, forces you into positive wealth building action, and then gives you some of the most excellent affirmations on wealth to help you keep your mind focused on what you want, and if you stay focused long enough, what you will someday get.

One person on Amazon.com's testimony page put....""Affirmations of Wealth" is a book that when combined with your own actions can create an amazing shift in your life - but only if you want change to happen in your life and you are not afraid to embrace the opportunities that await you", and it is a testimony I agree with.

I highly recommend this book on wealth. Seriously, consider learning more about this book on wealth by going to Affirmations of Wealth: 101 Secrets of Daily Success.
