My toddler loves "Clifford's Big Day On The Farm". We read it often at the request of my two year old.

In the story Emily Elizabeth has to make a book about farm animals for school, so Clifford helps her. They visit a farm so that they can learn more about the animals. While at the farm, Clifford befriends many of the animals.

The small book you see Clifford holding on the cover is the book Emily Elizabeth and Clifford made about animals. You can explore that small book with your toddler and learn about animals and the sounds they make.

This book is great for older kids as well, my 9 year old loves it too even though it is a cardboard book.

"Count with Maisy" is a cute counting book featuring the adorable mouse, Maisy. In the story Maisy helps your toddler count various objects such as Ladybugs and flowers.

The objects to be counted are placed nicely within the illustrations and my toddler enjoyed finding the objects as we counted. If you're looking for a counting book where the objects to be counted are front and center you may want to purchase a different book (like the cheerios counting book below). We really enjoyed making a game out of finding the objects, so it's just whatever you prefer.

This was my favorite book as a child, and it's also one of my toddler's favorites. We read it often and I have a feeling that my son's vocabulary is as good as it is because of this book.

"In A People House" is a wonderful book that teaches children over 50 nouns that they may find in their house while rhyming to keep your toddlers attention. We enjoy this book no matter how many times we read it.

"Little One, God Loves You" is an adorable book that my son loves. He recognizes "loves you" and giggles each time the phrase "God loves you" is said. This book really makes my toddler happy. I think this is the perfect book to use to introduce your toddler to God's love.

"Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See" is a very catchy book. It explores animals, colors, and rhyme at one time. My toddler shrieks with joy everytime I read this. He loves the yellow duck part. My nine year old says this is his favorite book still because he learned to read it first.

"One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish" sure is a catchy little book. It rhymes throughout in typical Dr. Seuss style. My toddler says "fishies" on every page. He adores the colorful little fish in this book and requests it often asking for "fishie book".

"I Love Colors" and who doesn't right? My toddler adores the cute little dog in this book. He's a mischievous little dog that keeps getting into different colors of paint. He helps toddlers explore different colors and what colors create what colors when mixed together. Wonderful color book!

The "Cheerios Counting Book" is a fun way to count with your toddler. Make breakfast fun or liven up a snack. Each page is filled with a picture with some spaces left to place Cheerios in and then count the little o's. We have a lot of fun with this book. I pull it out a few times a week to play/count/eat with my son.

"If you give a moose a muffin, he'll want some jam to go with it. If you give him some jam he'll want..." This is an amazing book! Both my toddler and my 9 year old love this book. We laugh throughout the book everytime we read it. It never gets boring and is great for kids of all ages. I can't get enough of this wacky and wonderful book.

"If You Give A Pig A Pancake" is my all time favorite book to read to my toddler and his older brother. "If you give a pig a pancake, she'll want some syrup to go with it. You'll give her some of your favorite maple syrup. She'll probably get all sticky, so she'll want to take a bath..." We can't get enough of this book. This is sure to give the whole family a good laugh. My toddler has to hear it whenever I cook pancakes. "Pancake book" is his frequent request. If you could only buy one book for your child, this would be the one I recommend.
