It seems like Fort St. John and area are forgotten about compared to the rest of the world. In fact, it is almost like we don't exist. Fort St. John is a small city in Northeastern BC. If you happen to be in the oilpatch, you know where it is.
We were looking to find assorted items for our new house. We wanted classified ads online and not having to search through the news to find it! All we want is a nice, easy to use place to find things.
A little convenience goes a long way!
There Was Something Missing.
Where's my Craigslist?
Coming from Vancouver where it is all about convenience (except rush hour) to Fort St. John where most store are closed on Sundays was a bit of a culture shock. The thing we missed most was spending mindless time searching Craigslist for what we needed.They don't have Craiglist up here! Well, if you search it, you will find 3 entries for Fort St. John.
In the BC Peace Region, you look through the news sites or go to a different page to find classified ads. There is no easy to get to, just classifieds site that represent just us. This is why we launched Boomers Buy and Sell. We are a BC Peace Region connection to free classifieds.
So, to solve this problem, we created it. It is easy to search through and easy to place an ad. We have included the other forgotten places in Northeastern BC. It's time to not be forgotten about!
