Boot Trays Keep Wet, Muddy Boots and Shoes From Dirtying Your Floors!
Keep boot trays near
your doors...
- for wet, muddy boots and shoes
- to keep dirt, snow, sand and water from spreading onto floors or carpets
- to hold shoes at the door if you don't want people wearing shoes in your home
Boot trays are great for winter, when people come in with snow and slush on their boots and shoes. They will keep snow and any gravel or salt from running onto the floor and ruining your floor or rug.
They are also useful in the summer. Gardeners come in with muddy boots after working in the backyard. Keep a boot tray near the back door or mud room for your wet or muddy garden boots and clogs.
If you have a beach house, keeping sandals and shoes on a boot tray or shoe tray inside or outside the door will keep people from tracking sand into your house.
And you will always know where your boots are, sitting by the door for your next walk on the beach, yard work or sloshing through winter snow. Your entrance will look tidy and organized. Search through our variety of boot trays and shoe trays for rubber, bronze, and tiered boot trays to protect your floors and rugs and match your home décor.

Boot Trays Are Available in Several Styles
The lip around the edge keeps water off your floors.
Boot trays are available in several styles. You can buy a tiered metal shoe rack and use it by the door as a way to keep water, snow and mud off your floor. Boots and shoes on tiered racks keep them off the floor and allow the air to dry them. You'll probably need a mat to put under the tiered rack, though, as many of them do not have a mat underneath and you don't want boots dripping on your floor.
Another way of keeping boots from dripping all over your floor is to put them on a boot tray. These boot trays can be made of many different materials. Most popular are plastic and rubber boot mats. They stand up to a lot of wear and have a lip around the edge that keeps the water from running out onto your floor. Some have a textured bottom that allows the water to run off the boots and doesn't leave them standing in muck.
Other boot trays are decorative and make lovely home décor. The bronze boot trays are especially pretty, with choices of several designs. Again, they have a lip around the edge to keep water off your floor. They are lovely in any entryway.

A Boot Brush and Shoe Brush Work Very Well
Clean your boots and shoes before you even come into the house!
Why not clean your boots and shoes by using a boot brush before you enter the house? You then won't be dragging in snow, dirt, mud, sand, manure and grass clippings. If you're working outside and you just want to come in for a drink of water, simply scrape your boots and you won't have to take them off before going into the house.A boot brush works like this: Just step between the brushes and move your foot back and forth. The brush bristles remove most, not all, of whatever is on your boot or shoe. Most of the bristles are gentle enough not to scratch your boots, but you might want to make sure you aren't scratching fine leather or suede by testing on a portion of your boot or shoe first.
Clean the brushes off by simply hosing them down with a garden hose. Some models, like the Scrusher, offer replacement brushes. When the bristles on your first boot brush eventually wear down, you can replace the brushes without buying an entirely new boot brush.
Boot brushes are available in designs that allow you to bolt them down or move them around where you need them. Encourage the whole family to use them before coming into the house.
In addition to using a boot brush at home, it is ideal for construction sites and golf courses. They also make a great gift for gardeners, farmers and Father's Day!

- Great idea, keeps people from tracking dirt further into the house. I'll have to get myself one of those boot brushes and scrape the junk off my shoes. I wonder if they work on dog feet?
