About the Author Andrea Busfield

Andrea Busfield was born in Warrington, England. As a journalist she travelled from London to work in Afghanistan. She was first assigned to Afghanistan in 2001 to report on the fall of the Taliban, then she returned again in 2005 as editor of a Kabul newspaper. She turned her experiences there into a novel. Born Under a Million Shadows was her debut novel and has been translated into 18 languages.
