My brother used to go to school in Boston near the Old North Church. He used to take me around and show me the sights. I live a couple of hours away now and end up heading down that way at least once a year. A lot of my family history is rooted in Boston, so there's a bit of a hometown feel there for me. Definitely a beautiful city worth visiting!

I've been to Fanuiel Hall/Quincy Market and I could just gorge myself on all the great seafood there. When I visit my family next I'll have to take my kids to a baseball game at Fenway Park!

I have visited Boston a few times. Unfortunately, all my visits have been quite short but I liked what I saw. Hotels can be $$$ so it pays to reserve early and to shop around.

I would say the best day in Boston would be a train ride down to Boston from Portland, then on to the Aquarium. We will pick a lunch at Fanuiel Hall then wrap the day up with a duck Boat ride.

The Boston Bruins are by far the NUMBER 1 thing to see in Boston ..... Ok maybe the Red Sox are a close 2nd lol ;)

Very interesting and enjoyable lens to read about one of Americas oldest and most historical city. With recent championships won by the city's professional basketball, football, and baseball teams, Boston could easily be called "The City of Champions".
What I found most interesting was the proximity of Rhode Island(45 miles away) and New Hampshire(30 miles away) to this bustling metropolis. The accompanying photographs are a wonderful addition that really held my interest.

Great lens! We just added this to the featured lenses in the sidebar of our Massachusetts wedding lens - http://www.squidoo.com/planning-a-wedding-in-massachusetts. Looking forward to a dominating season from the Celts too! ... and the Pats and Bruins. Red Sox need to find their way again.

Boston is a great place to visit. Harvard Square is a great place to hang out, and don't forget to visit the campus along with MIT.

I have always wanted to visit Boston, but haven't. I enjoyed reading about this place and the picture are great to see. Looks like I'm going to want to go there even more now. Very nicely done lens. Its a big place with tall buildings. I haven't ever been to the coast, so I still have lots to see...hopefully someone. ~ This lens deserves a blessing for sure and that it will be. :)

Haven't been to Boston? A lot of people compare it to Europe, but it has a flavor all it's own.
