Boston House of Blues Latest News & Events

No matter what day of the week, chances are there's something going on at the House of Blues. Located in the heart of Boston right across the street from Fenway Park, the newly revamped venue now hosts sold out shows to crowds of 2,500. The venue has over six bars throughout its three floors, a crowded standing only ground floor with a merchandise corner, a mezzanine allowing audiences a bird's eye view of the stage and VIP access and a third floor with stadium seating. With décor emulating Bourbon Street with a celestial feel, when big names aren't booked for the House of Blues, the venue hosts a multitude of local acts at its more intimate side stages, a strobe-style club night called Epic Saturdays and a Gospel-themed brunch on Sunday mornings. The new House of Blues has changed the face of pre- and post- Sox dining, an upscale alternative to Lansdowne's pub scene, and has allowed national acts to perform at a sizable and intimate venue. Great Concert/Venue Pics

Ever Been to the New House of Blues?

Tell us something about your venue experiences. Who did you see? How was it?

I personally really enjoyed my experience at the new House of Blues. I went to see Umphrey's McGee there a few months back which always makes for a great show. As for the venue itself; everything was greater than I expected. The sound quality was unbelievable along with the light show and electric crowd. With the multiple floors and extra side space available, I could either jump right into the concentrated amount of exciting fans or simply relax and enjoy the show in my own area.
