Home Based Business an Answer to a Prayer

I think to believe in prayer you have to have an openmind. The energy of thought is a very powerful thing. From what I have read and experienced, our thoughts are the most powerful things. If we think positively and continue to do so, most likely our results are positive. If we think negatively, situations can flow just the opposite. Not everything we think positively about turns out positive, so we think. This is where openmindedness comes in.

Sometimes the best possible outcome arises from the most negative situation. With our limited human perspective, we cannot always 'see' the intended result. Being openminded to all possibilities can lead us to the best place we need to be. I have seen this in my own life repeatedly and the more I grow spiritually, the more the doors do open.

One example is with my 8 year old. He has a hard time getting to sleep in his own bed. I have been reading the Living Bible to him before he goes to sleep. On the nights I do this, he sleeps all through the night and does not end up in my bed at 4 in the morning. He even commented to me the other night that when we read the Bible he sleeps all night without waking up.

I do alot of praying for my son, as I am sure alot of parents do for their own children. As a parent, prayer is sometimes the only thing that gets me through.

I do alot praying period about everything. I tend to turn everything in my life over to the God I understand. To me, the world can be so crazy at times that I do not want to be apart of the insanity, I want to be part of the solution, so I pray. And when I do, I believe, that situations will improve.

I guess, Prayer+Faith is the catalyst for improvement. I don't just pray for myself, I pray for my family, friends, community, the whole universe sometimes. If anything, it makes me feel better and when I feel better, I can BE better.
I need energy to be a good parent, a good citizen, a great team player and neighbor.

Prayer is an excellent way for me to be ALL these things and MORE! The Bible is fraught with examples of prayer and how it boosts and buoys the human spirit. These stories help me to understand this unseen force and power.

From prayer the impossible becomes manifest. Think about your own life, has there ever been a time when you have prayed for an answer to a financial problem or for someone to be healed and miraculously the answers or healing were there?

It has taken me a long time to feel this energy in my life. Now, I know, prayer is the solution for me in all that I do. On so many levels. Without this power, I am like the house built on sand, and when the storms come, well, I am washed away.

One of Deepak Chopra's Spiritual Laws is the Law of Least Effort. You can achieve more by doing less.

Seems funny because all I was ever taught was that the harder you work, the more success you will achieve.

Although, this may be exactly the opposite of achieving true success. Because the harder I work the more burn out I receive.

Chopra says, "nature functions without effort". You don't see grass trying to grow it just does with the right amount of sunshine and rain. Or birds trying to fly south for the winter, they just do.

So why do we try so hard to force success? Why can't we create the environments for success, nurture them with the right amount of love and gratitude and let the underlying field of pure potential take it's course?

Can't say I have an exact answer to that. Yet I know when I slow my mind from the constant chatter, look within, I can see miracles transforming everywhere.

It takes commitment and focus and definitely getting the ego out of the way.

Anxiety, judgement and negativty do not have a place in this. Instead of going backward, accept the way things are today and be open to what the universe has planned.

Slow down. Breath deep. Tune in.

The messages are there, we just have to be quiet for it to happen.

A problem that many parents face today is how can I effectively parent my children and make a good living?

Gas prices the way they are, childcare, food, education, clothing, (is your head spinning yet?), is all this chasing the almighty dollar worth it?

I grew up in the 70's and I thought that was a simpler time. Am I crazy?

I have been trying off and on for the last 7 or 8 years to find the balance by looking for a way to work at home and make a living.

I had all but given up and I am for realin' ya. And then I got an email and I'm not sure how they found me, but I thank God they did. This message was from the universe 'cuz I had been praying a lot.

It was from a group of folks who were committed to building a company where everyone contributes to the common good which in turn benefits the individual.

Groovy, huh? Down right phenomenal! Really blew my mind.

And this is strange because I've only been a member for a week and haven't made my millions yet. Although, I feel it inside to the depths of my soul that this is it. 'Member, I told you this came from the universe.

If you have ever tried to buck the universe then you know what I'm talkin' bout. DON'T DO IT!

So, I just started and I am really green. Not sure what I am doing yet, although I have tons of support from the community. I don't think I will become an internet whiz or anything and that's ok. Yet, I know, that my dream of being the best parent I can be and working from home will be realized.

If I can help others to do the same by introducing you to a
community where we can be accountable for eachother's success as well as our own, well then, what a wonderful world this will be.

Hey, my job is great and I don't knock it. Although, at my age I would much rather work a few hours at home than to drag myself to the office every day.

So, you know what. I started a home based business .

I'm not out of the office yet, but I will be shortly.

My problem is, I am a single mom of an 8 year old boy trying to please my clients and my son all at the same time. My son gets sick, I can't go to work. Whenever there is an inservice day for teachers at school, I don't go to work or I have to scramble to find a babysitter. Augggh. Some days I think I'm going crazy.

Somethin' gotta give, baby. And it's going to be the office job.

Not to mention the price of gas...now don't get me started.

I'm thinking there are alot of parents out there that face the same dilemma. It's insane at times.

I'm looking for quality of life, freedom to spend my time the way I want, financial security and most importantly, being with that precious child of mine.
