Exploring the Consciousness of Abundance

Abundance consciousness is the dance of giving and receiving, becoming a good taker. Gratitude, right thought, right action, right effort, care taker wisdom, are all called for now.

In a time when the ego run riot has set causes in the stream that create a great deal of suffering, it is important to learn from the mistakes made from grasping, greed, power grabs and decisions made from no moral compass. It is time to come correct, and learn again about living a life coherent with basic spiritual principles. It is time to let go of the fear that has been driving our decisions, and come back to an awareness of what abundance really is, and our responsibility to take good care of the bounty.

My basket is full, I am thankful. I share with you now from the bounty I have received.

Energize the Consciousness of Abundance

excerpt from VOICES OF OUR ANCESTORS by Dhyani Ywahoo

Six is the ray of devotion to manifestation of the ideal form: as above, so below.
(associated with rose colored light, Earth, clan, six pointed star, rose quartz.)

Remembering that the thought is energy manifesting, interpreted through the heart and energy receptors of being, we energize the consciousness of abundance and right relationship to the Earth. When love of and devotion to the Earth is carried through with proper thinking and right action, the land responds with abundance. A scarcity mentality will perpetuate the illusion of hunger, poverty, and unbalanced distribution of power.

When the group attunes to receptivity with discrimination, the group can then perceive the ideal form emerging for the good of the entire planet. Thus, through alignment with the higher group self, we can reaffirm the qualities of connections with the whole and express that connection in right action.

Abundance and the Hero's Journey

excerpt from THE ENERGY OF MONEY by Maria Nemeth

The idea of abundance as the totality of life is famously expressed in the Bible, Ecclesiastes 3:1-8: "To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven. A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted..." Life teaches us that comfort and discomfort, joy and sadness are all qualities that will be expressed in the fullness of time. Abundance is all of it, even the bitter moments that serve to teach us and wake us up.

The well-lived life is a conscious life. When we are conscious, we're aware of everything, living fully. We don't choose what we want to become conscious of. We don't say "let me be aware of this aspect of my life, but not that." As the veil lifts from our perception, we see both the miracles and the lessons that surround us. Every time you are willing to say "Yes" to everything on your path, you express the hero inside of you.

To answer "Yes"-an emphatic "Yes"-to everything is to put us in the positon to experience prosperity. Prosperity comes when you participate fully in every aspect of your life. That's because you thrive when you participate. It's a state of growth. Your're not pushing away anything, you're using everything as an opportunity to wake up and express who you are in your heart.

Take a deep breath. With this new understanding of abundance and prosperity, you can handle the flow of energy in your life. When you're not blocking anything, are willing to learn from everything, and are committed to expressing your true nature, you are in that moment propering. From this we can see that prosperity is not something out there, waiting to happen in the future. Prosperity occurs now, every time you are willing to be fully present to your life. That's why "Yes" is the most powerful word you can utter.

Value Creation

Staying Centered in the Face of Sudden Wealth, by Patricia Guy

Congratulations! You've just hit the jackpot, tapped into the big money stream with the faucet on full blast. You suddenly have more money than you ever imagined flowing in faster than you ever dreamed possible. How do you navigate this new river? It comes with it's own currents, eddies, whirlpools, backwaters, and seductions. How do you find your feet? This is a "luxury problem", certainly. How do you stay centered in the face of this slippery new reality? How do you avoid loosing your sense of self, and not falling into the trap of believing that you are your back account? Where can you go for help if you have never been taught how to handle large amounts of money?

Never fear, help is on the way! First, take a deep breath. Let it out. Breathe in, breathe out; be present in your breath. This much of your life has not changed. You are still a human being; you have a human body with its own set of limitations, gifts, and challenges. Bring your attention to this present moment. Your given circumstances have changed, but you are still you. Bring your attention to this particular present moment. Look at your hands. These are the same hands you had yesterday, and yet they are different already, one more day of life has left it's mark on them, cells have divided, cells have moved on. They are the same hands as yesterday, and yet they are not. Close your eyes. Be present in your breath. Notice the presence that is you watching your breath. Is this the same I am as yesterday? It is, and it isn't. Another day's experience has informed who you are today. Now, take another breath. Become aware of your body, the position it finds itself in, the gravity holding you where you are. Is this the same body you experienced two weeks ago? Stand up. Stand up in your full self, with your present awareness. Feel the solid earth beneath you. Feel the effects of gravity holding you where you stand. Reach up to the sky above you. Become aware of the limitless space above your head. Here you stand, balanced between earth and sky.

Now that you have come back to yourself, a human being standing between earth and sky, it is time to take stock, to take inventory, to see your situation as it is now:

What are your values, what do you truly care about?
Make a list. In the next weeks, notice where you invest your time, your attention, and your money. Make a list of your expenditures, including how you spend your pocket change. At the end of the week, compare the two lists. Are you spending your time, your attention, your money, and your life's energy, on the things you truly care about? If not, you have some work to do to get your life back in balance.

What is your new life focus, what are your new intentions?
Where you place your attention matters. Focus your attention on the things that truly matter to you, your core life values, and allow your "to do" list and your budget to flow from these intentions.

Who are your true supporters?
Identify who you trust to tell you the truth of their own experience, even when you don't want to hear that truth. Write down who knows you well enough to see the person behind the illusion of power that comes with the mantle of money. Make note of who is least likely to be seduced by that illusion. Ask yourself the hard questions, such as are you surrounding yourself with people who will agree with you, or with people who really see you?

What needs cleaning up?
Take note of what needs to be addressed right now. Of those items, what needs to be cleaned up with the help of good counsel? Consider wether you need the services of a good tax lawyer, an accountant or accounting firm, a financial advisor. Make a list of the documents that are needed, such as a will, living will, marital property agreement, or trust fund for the next generation.

What do you need to know about money and how it works?
Do you know what questions to ask? What are your areas of weakness around money? What are your strengths?

What are your hopes and fears around money? Do you trust yourself? What do you hope this money can do for you, your loved ones, or the larger community around you?

To whom do you owe a debt of gratitude?
Consider setting up a process of making regular donations to institutions or organizations that have benefitted you and your family.

Remember, you are not your bank account. You are flowing in a fast moving river, this is very heady stuff, but you can stand up in your full self at any time and find your feet. You are not the stream you are flowing in. You are the point of awareness, the lens through which "all that is" experiences this particular part of the stream. It may seem now that you have your hand on the "Easy button", but each stream of awareness comes with it's own set of challenges. Ask your highest self each morning, "Where is my attention needed today?" Whatever the task at hand, undertake to do it joyfully. Remember, help is always near, all you have to do is ask.
