Bournemouth Airshow 2009 and 2008 were great successes. Will there be a 2010, and will it be as successful? This site is for news and rumours and will be regularly updated as information about whether there will be a show is released.

With an estimated 500,000 visitors Bournemouth Airshow 2009 can only be said to have been a success. Free to enter, the show drew performers and visitors from around the world to the South coast.

It's difficult to suggest planning for next year as the dates, and whether there will even be an airshow is unknown.

Even if the airshow isn't on, why not plan a visit to Bournemouth? With seven miles of beaches its a beautiful resort for a holiday.

Possible exhibitors 

Past and present aircraft

Exhibitors come from far and wide for the show. So past and hopefuly future displays included:

Avro Vulcan XH558 the world's only flying Avro Vulcan displayed on Saturday and Sunday of 2009

The Sea Vixen G-CVIX, a local girl restored by De Havilland Aviation, was star of the show in 2008 but not at 2009 due to the pilot's illness.

The Red Arrows, and Battle of Britain Memorial Flight attended both shows. other exhibitors including the Red Bull Matadors, Swift glider team, RAF Falcons and more. Oh, and the Typhoon.

After 2009 drew 500,000 visitors it would seem a waste not to continue.

    The Bournemouth Air Show sounds like the place to be in 2010. One would think that there would be even more visitors in succeeding years.

    I wonder where Bournemouth is?
