Here is Me...and my lensography!

My name is Sylvia and I'm a retired gramma from South Texas. I love to crochet, cross-stitch, knit, garden, watch movies, read, play with my dogs, spoil my wonderful grandsons, collect angels, garden, and sell online! People used to tell me I'd be bored with so much time on my hands when I retired ~ but so far, that hasn't happened. Where does all the time go?

Let Me Introduce Myself...

Way back when, I started selling at eBay the year after it opened and now have several web sites and blogs of my own. For a while, I did sell on a few of the alternative eBay auction sites, but there's just not enough time to do everything I want to do! LOL But, I've met lots of wonderful people this way, and I still shop at the eBay alternatives!

I retired in June 2007 after 30 years of public service working for the State Of Texas. My jobs while working for the state included secretary, social work technician, systems analyst and tax auditor. LOL

My husband Sam, the love of my life, and I have been married for 34 years. Of course, I swear I was only *cough* FIVE when we got married!

Squidoo got my attention and I registered on April 29, 2006. We started off innocently enough. It seemed like a great way to market my online stores.

The fascination slowly grew as I enjoyed reading the wonderful pages written by others ~ and the bug bit me. I made a few more lenses, then a few more. It was stop and start for awhile, but the addiction finally took hold and took me over!

Now I have themes of lenses! Lenses about gift ideas, lenses about organizing, more lenses for my stores, lenses about the eBay boycott I participated in, lenses in support of the eBay alternative auction sites. Recipes - I've got bunches of them!

I keep thinking in lens-thoughts! I see something and wonder...Can I make a lens about that? Would that make a good lens topic?
