Bowflex Home Gyms - Personal Trainer's #1 Choice

My friend, Gad Jericho, is a reknown personal trainer. He knows everything about fitness and exercise advice. I called him asking for advice as to what home gym I should buy, and he wholeheartedly recommend I Shop for a Bowflex® home gym.. I asked him some more questions to make sure this was the machine that was right for me, and here is what he had to say about the Bowflex home gyms.

Why The Bowflex Is The Best Home Gym For Personal Use

As a personal trainer that travels from one client's home to the next I see a lot of home gyms. Some of them I cannot even use, they're so old and outdated or so poorly maintained I don't think my insurance would even cover me using it!

I use alot of resistance band training with home clients too, but if I can get a client to purchase a Bowflex Home Gym, that's 1st prize. It allows me to stick to the resistance training I believe in, no compromise. The Bowflex is certainly one of the easier to use and more versatile gyms I have used and I have found the Bowflex great for burning fat at home.

Warpspeed from MA reviewed the Bowflex PR1000 and says: "This unit is extremely sturdy and well put together. I was a bit nervous to buy this because I have young kids I did not want to trash it. Believe me, they couldn't! This is far too well-designed and durable.

Worked out for about an hour, and I love it. Lots of exercises you can do (both muscular and cardio) and you can really feel it.

As others have noted on other models, I can see how the weights (200 lbs) might not be enough, but I am not looking to become the Incredible Hulk. This unit is perfect to stay fit and not let those holiday meals get the upper hand.

I really recommend this to anyone who wants to work at home and does not want to be bored with the same old routine (treadmill, stationary bike, etc.)

Great job, Bowflex!"

Don't Be Fooled By Looks

The Bowflex doesn't look like your traditional home gym but in operation it's exactly the same.

These gyms have no heavy weights , instead they use a system of variable resistance applied by engaging more or the flexible variable resistance rods you see at the back. When you have finished your session the entire gym can be easily folded away.

Nightmare loves her machine, and writes about her great workouts with the Bowflex PR3000: "I have been very impressed with this Bowflex Machine. It's been in my home for around a year and it's showing no signs of wear. My favorite part about this puppy is the convenience--you can do a large number of exercises without rearranging anything (from chest presses to leg lifts). Fortunately, it also takes up relatively little room (except vertically). You just need to make sure the rods won't hit anything when you actually do the exercises since they bend down and will extend father than the width of the actual machine.

My arms are noticeably stronger than before I purchased it, and that's without a regular and consistent workout routine. I'm very pleased with the overall performance of this model, and would advise it to anybody (although pros will probably need to purchase the additional resistance rods)."

The Bowflex Requires NO MAINTENANCE

The Bowflex is designed to work all the major muscle groups and has such good ergonomics your size or weight doesn't matter at all and I know this because I have dealt with so many of my home clients that have these concerns. So if you're 6'7 or really fat, you can use it and get just as much benefit as the average person.

The resistance rods can be set at a level that even older folks, and people with special needs who usually need to train at home, can handle an gain benefit from the variety of exercises possible on the Bowflex home gym.

On the other end of the scale the resistance rods offer enough resistance for even the toughest workouts and the range of exercises is as big as your imagination.

Mexican, a self professed gym rat, wrote: "Let me start by saying that my wife and I have been going to a gym for the last 9 years and I would consider ourselves to be Gym Rats. Unfortunately we have recently we have had a hard time making it to the gym regularly due to our 3 year old daughter not being in daycare anymore. So we decided to buy a small arsenal of home fitness equipment, including a Bowflex Blaze, and make home gym. This has been by far one of the best decisions and investments we have made. We have been able to regularly have very intense workouts in the comfort of our own home 24 hours a day. All without having to spend 2+ hours of our day going to a gym.

The Bowflex Blaze is so versatile due to it having three pulley systems plus the leg attachment. The Blaze is not limited to 60+ exercises. Anything and everything I can do at the gym and then some I can do at home. I feel that this machine can either supplement a gym membership, which we are doing, or replace it all together. To sum it all up, if you can think of a workout you can do it on the Bowflex Blaze. I don't know of any other machine as versatile and complete as a bowflex for the money and space. "
