I recently purchased a left over 2008 allegiance and am quite satisfied. I looked at all bows and thought this one felt the best in my hands and when fired. It is quiet, fast, and the finish is impressive. I looked Matthews as well, and just thought the Bowtech felt better, and shot about the same as a Matthews. I havent found a bow yet Id trade it for. I realize a lot is just preference, but if you like the way this bow looks and feels, youll love the performance. I have a QAD pro HD rest, Vibracheck stabalizer/ dampner, and string dampner from vibracheck, a extreme sight, and a G5 peep. To me this cant be beat, but again most of it is preference. Just dont try to use hay bales doubled up cause it will blast a arrow threw them! I think the arrow in flight makes way more noise than my Allegiance does, I am actually thinking of going straight fletched arrows, or feathers just because its soo damn quiet!
