In 2012 the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts will began selling popcorn door-to-door, in front of stores, and online on September 1st.

You can buy popcorn online by clicking on the links below throughout the year. Butter and Butter Lite microwave popcorn is available online all year, whereas chocolate coverened popcorn and pretzels are only available during the colder part of the year. If you miss the normal selling perioud, you can still order Boy Scout Popcorn online in 2012 by using the links below.

In 2011, Trails-end and the Boy Scouts of America made a few changes to their popcorn lineup.

First, the Chocolate Lover's Collection was retired.
Added to the lineup from the Chocolate Lover's Collection in individual bags are the White Chocolate Pretzels and the Triple Chocolaty Delight. Also added to the lineup in 2011 is Microwave Kettle Corn.

When did the BSA popcorn tins get retired?

More Popcorn, Better Packaging, and Better Taste in 2010

type=textIn 2010, the Boy Scouts popcorn vendor, Trail's End, upgraded the popcorn so that it tastes better. It also changed to packaging from the popcorn tins we were used to to more environmentally friendly packaging as you see in today's popcorn bags. Although, by the poll below, it seems almost half of the people prefer the popcorn tins.

Where can I still get a boy scout popcorn tin?

The only place to still get the BSA popcorn tin is in garage sales and through third party sellers like eBay. However, please remember, that the popcorn in these popcorn tins was made in 2009.

About the Boy Scouts of America

British General Robert-Baden Powell founded the scouting movement in England. W.D. Boyce incorporated the Boy Scouts of America on February 8, 1910 and in April 1910 turned it over to the YMCA for development.

Cub Scouts are for boys in 1st thru 5th grade. Boy Scouts are for boys 6th thru 12th grade. Below are the Promises and Laws of being a good Cub Scout and Boy Scout.

    So what is your secret to your success online? I didn't even get $300 in online sales this year. I sent emails, used Facebook, and used the Trail's End system and still didn't do well.

    I found some of this information to be inaccurate, but maybe it has to do with different parts of the country. We are still selling the Chocolate lovers tin here in Minnesota, and all the packaging of our popcorn in tin, except for the microwave and kernel versions
