Little Boy's Halloween Costumes
Boy's Halloween Costumes
Litttle Boy's Halloween Costumes will help you select a costume suitable for that special little boy in your life. Halloween comes once a year so why not take some time and effort to make it memorable. Traditional Halloween costumes are based upon frightfully goulish monsters and spooky scary characters. Children today often prefer to dress up like their favorite super-hero or disney character from a comic book or movie. The best costume choice for your little boy will be something he can relate to based upon his unique character, and can feel comfortable and happy in.

Wise Tips For Choosing Children's Halloween Costumes
Safety & Comfort
Take a few moments to check this list before making a final costume selection.
When choosing your childs costume the two most important elements are safety and comfort.
- Make sure your child is highly visible if they plan go trick-or-treating in the neighborhood. Placing reflective tape on the costume will ensure that driver's can see them from a distance.
- Choose a costume that is comfortable and easy to move in. Avoid baggy or long costumes that drag on the ground as your child can easily trip on these.
-Your costume should be non-flammable. Decorated doorways with lighted jack-o-lanterns present a fire hazard.
- Comfort is vital to an enjoyable evening. Scratchy and itchy fabric, hot halloween masks, and strange awkward accessories will hamper your evening's fun quotient.
-Avoid masks, hoods or other costume features that obsruct your child's vision.
-Using restroom facilities will be a necessity. Make sure the costume does not make bathroom visits awkward or time consuming.
- Consider the weather in your area. October is cold in some parts of the country and you will want to dress your child appropriately if they are going to be outdoors for Halloween festivities.
- Make sure your child wears comfortable shoes for trick-or-treating.
To Purchase Or Create

Once your child has officially selected a costume idea you will then want to decide whether to purchase the costume or make your own. Creating the costume together can be an enjoyable experience if you have the available time and energy to devote to the project. Dollar stores and thrift stores are great places to pick up pieces for the costume. If you are sewing machine challenged, do not despair. Hot glue, safety pins and even tape works for securing items. The books below are a treasure trove of ideas.

- My little boy isn't so little this year! He decided at the age of 11, he is too old to dress-up! We had many years of fun, picking out costumes though! Great page!
