Boys Over Flowers II

As everybody has been wondering who are these actors and actresses who played the different roles in Boys Over Flowers -- well, fret no more.

From left to right --



Song WoBin is played by one of the members of T-Max -- Kim Joon. His group sang Paradise, which is one of the soundtracks of this series.



So Yi Jeong is played by Kim Bum. Bum has already acted in other series like East of Eden. He sang the song, "I'm Going To Meet You Now" which is also included in the third soundtrack of this series.



Goo Joon Pyo is played by the sizzling hot Lee Min Ho. Same as Kim Bum, he has also played in other tv series before joining the cast of Boys Over Flowers. His first lead role was in 2007, starring as Cha Gong Chan in SBS's Mackerel Run.



Yoon Ji Hoo is my favorite -- because he was played by the 4D singer who has captured the heart of so many girls, Kim Hyun Joong. He was the very reason why I watched Kkot Boda Namja. Before the filming of Boys Over Flowers, he was part of the reality show, "We Got Married". And the lovely Hwangbo Hye Jung was his wife. On December 2008, they finally left the show as he got so busy filming this TV series. Hyun Joong is the leader of the group, SS501 (Double S 501) and some of their songs are included in the soundtrack of Boys over Flowers.

* She was the "high school commoner" who gave Goo Joon Pyo -- the richest kid in Korea -- a high kick in the face.

* She was the lady love of the two members of F4 -- Yoon Ji Hoo and Goo Joon Pyo.

* She was Goo Joon Pyo's first love.

* She was the reason why Goo Joon Pyo knelt down in front of JaeKyung.

* She was the reason why Goo Joon Pyo and his childhood best friend, Yoon Ji Hoo quarelled.

And she is none other than, Geum Jandi
-- played by the multi - talented actress, Goo Hye Sun.



Hye Sun -- is a director, a writer, a singer, and an actress.

If you think she's plain and simple in Boys over Flowers, better think again if you see her in real life.

Ha Jae Kyung -- the playful and cheerful fiancee of Goo Joon Pyo was played by Lee Min Jung. She was part of the TV Show, "Who Are You?" where she played the role of Yang Ji Suk. She used to have long silky hair but she cut them off for her role in Boys Over Flowers.



Choo Ga Eul -- the lady who never gave up on searching for the key of Yi Jeong's happiness. She is also Jandi's bestfriend. This character was played by the bubbly and charming Kim So Eun. In Boys Over Flowers, she has always helped Jandi during the hard times. So Eun was also part of the TV Drama, "The Iron Empress".



Min Seo Hyun -- this lady is Ji Hoo's FIRST. First love and first heart break. This character was played by Han Chae Young. She is also F4's bestfriend. Although she came from a very rich family, she chose to live an independent life in France while pursuing her studies in law and being a model at the same time. If you are an avid fan of Korean TV Dramas, you must have seen her in "Only You", and "Autumn Tale".



Goo Joon Hee -- The lady whom Goo Joon Pyo is afraid the most -- his elder sister. The lovely lady who played this role is Kim Hyun Joo. In Boys Over Flowers, the character possesses both beauty and brains -- she also takes care of her younger brother and supported him in his fight for the love of Geum Jan Di. Hyun Joo can be seen in Korean TV dramas -- "Springtime/Days of Youth" and "Marry A Millionaire"



Cha Eun Jae -- Yi Jeong's first love who later became his brother's girlfriend. This character is played by Park Soo Jin. In Boys Over Flowers, she is also inlove with Yi Jeong eventhough he has a lot of girls. One night, she asked Yi Jeong to come a a certain place early in the morning but Yi Jeong did not go. Had he come, he should have seen the message in the billboard which says, " Saranghae Yi Jeong" which means "I love you Yi Jeong"



Oh Min Ji -- is the girl who befriends Jandi in the early part of the drama and turned out to be a traitor in the end. Lee Si Young was chosen to play this role. Min Ji is inlove with Goo Joon Pyo since kindergarten. Back then, Joon Pyo called her "ugly" so she had a plastic surgery to be pretty. When she found out that Joon Pyo and Jandi are getting closer, she framed Jandi and posted her pictures with the guy in a hotel room. In real life, Si Young was also part of the reality show, "We Got Married." She was partnered with Junjin.



Jung Yu Mi -- Among all the characters in Boys Over Flowers, this is probably the character that everybody hates the most. Unluckily, new-comer Kim Min Ji got the role. She was the lady Goo Joon Pyo met in the hospital when he had a temporary amnesia. She took advantage of Joon Pyo's weakness and pretended that she was his gf. Kim Min Ji can also be seen in the TV series, Empress Chun Chu. (She looks like Shinae)



Three Wicked Ladies -- As the description implies, these ladies always bully Jandi in school. They also like Goo Joon Pyo. (from left to right -- ) Jang Ja Yun played the role of "Sunny" (Park Sun Ja) (she passed away last 7th Mar 2009). Gook Ki Yun played the role of "Ginger" (Choi Jin Hee) and Min Young Won as "Miranda" (Lee Min Suk).

When Goo Joon Pyo bought the building next to where Jandi and her brother live and decided to live there. The stove won't turn on and he's so hungry already. He just ate the noodles without cooking them.. ^_^



This was when Jandi has nowhere to go and Joon Pyo's sister takes her in their house. She worked as Joon Pyo's personal maid. That's how Joon Pyo reacted when he was told. Cute Lee Min Ho.



Working as personal maid to Joon Pyo, she was asked to prepared ramyun. While waiting for her master to finish his food, she dozed off to sleep. Just looking at Joon Pyo, he must have loved her so much. And Lee Min Ho has portrayed that role so well. *Applause*



Our mighty Goo Joon Pyo is scared to death because of _____ ?



I had a good laugh in this scene... The F3 are so serious! There are tears in Yi Jeong's eyes. (lol) The mood made the scene so real.



And while Jandi was crying out loud... Joon Pyo's eyes opened. :P

And yes, it was a bluff.. and Jandi fell for it... :D

Goo Joon Pyo: Haven't you guys figured out? That girl, I think she's totally into me. (After Jandi kicked him in the face)

Goo Joon Pyo: I knew it was weird that there was a life form that didn't fall for THE Goo Jun Pyo's charisma (LoL...)

Goo Joon Pyo: Just as I expected, you plaster some money on and even the ugly duckling becomes a dove. (dove?)

Geum Jandi: : Has your brain been fried because you've eaten too much greasy foods? (Jandi fighting!)

Yoon Ji Hoo: : If all things could be fixed with sorry, then what would laws and police be for?

Goo Joon Pyo's House





The Damyang Dynasty Country Club is the setting for the home of Shinhwa Group's Gu Jun-pyo, as well as a film set in Hwaseong. Ragung hotel in Gyeongju was the setting for Yun Ji-hu's traditional Hanok home. This high-class hotel consists of 16 separate houses, which are connected by corridors. The construction of the hotel required the largest number of specialized carpenters since the restoration of Gyeongbokgung Palace. Ragung was actually the name for the royal palace during the Silla dynasty. Guestrooms include private gardens and hot spring baths. The hotel is located in Korea's very first historical theme park, the Shilla Millennium Park, and hotel rates include breakfast, dinner, and admission tickets to the theme park.

Keimyung University is the setting for the prestigious Shinhwa High School, the school attended by the main characters in the drama and which only children of the top 1% of the wealthiest families in Korea can attend. Keimyung University is situated in the city of Daegu. Its Western-style buildings and gorgeous natural surroundings make it one of the top ten most beautiful campuses in Korea, and consequently it's a popular filming location for dramas and films. Major productions filmed at Keimyung University include the drama and the movie . Keimyung University consists of Seongseo campus and Daemyeong campus and the drama's school scenes were filmed at both campuses. The beautiful Greek-style front gates and red-bricked buildings, along with Ji-hu and Jan-di's secret hideout on the staircase, are all located in Keimyung University's campuses.

The English Village in Yangpyeong was the setting for Shinhwa High School's hallways, lobby, and exterior facades. First opened in April 2008, Gyeonggi English Village Yangpyeong Camp covers a 100.935%u33A1 area and has a total of 55 buildings, which are modeled on historical buildings in Virginia, United States. This educational English camp consists of condo-style dormitories, an artificial soccer turf, indoor gymnasium, health club, swimming pool, outdoor concert hall, observatory facilities, and more. The English Village was the location for the scene when Jan-di's friend, Oh Min-ji, spills ice cream on Gu Jun-pyo's shoes.
