The best boys' clothing lines. Because why should girls have all the fun?

Let's start with Georgie World.

Georgie World uses their Southern California lifestyle as a design influence by infusing their clothing with the colors of the beach, the style of the surf punks, and the retro modern attitude of the local hipsters.

Georgie World is created with a combination of tops and bottoms that mix and match, as well as many items that stand on their own. Their fabrics are soft, colorful and always wash and wear. Georgie World is best known for outfits that keep boys looking like boys and not little men.

Tea Collection is a relatively new brand that has an interesting outlook on kid's clothing. They started in 2002 with a philosophy of bringing globally inspired apparel to 'little citizens of the world'. Their clothing is thoughtful, decently priced, and I love their fit. My favorites are the jeans; I feel they have the best fit for the best price.

What can I say about Old Navy that you don't already know? The styles are trendy, the quality is decent and you can't beat the price. My only complaint is.. BORING! Old Navy doesn't give your kids any style, but that is what the other companies are for. I mainly buy bottoms and then fill in my son's wardrobes with the other listed brands.

Quiksilver is the pinnacle of surf clothing. They are one of the world's largest manufacturers of surf wear, and because of their size, they can produce boy's clothing for the highest quality without sacrificing price. I love that their designers put just as many design elements into their youth clothing as they do their adult styles.

Charlie Rocket is also a surf wear company, but they focus exclusively on kids- both boys and girls. I love their board shorts and flannel shirts.

I group these three brands together because they all have similar styles and price points.

Small Paul has some really cool hipster sweaters that I have not seen anywhere else. Also, I love that the brand uses COLOR! Most boys' brands shy away from bright colors, but not Small Paul. It is nice to get away from brown and olive green.

(As an aside, I have noticed a bunch of you are looking for Small Paul Yo Gabba Gabba clothing. It seems as if the brand who licensed YGG characters for clothing is Kidrobot. You can find cute YGG tshirts and jackets at kidrobot.com)

Knuckleheads really outdid themselves this fall season. I just love their juxtaposition of plaids with patterns.

Appaman has some really great 1970's inspired jackets that will give your son's wardrobe some serious panache! They are best known for their t-shirts, but I think their other items are just as good looking

I love t-shirts. I mean I really love t-shirts. What better way then a t-shirt to show who you really are. I love to scour the web for interesting t-shirts and I have listed two of my favorites: Junk Food and Neptune Zoo.

Junk Food was started in 1998 and somehow they have the best in retro and contemporary pop culture images. My sons happen to be obsessed with Star Wars so I was thrilled to find t-shirts with different Star Wars logos on them. But the t-shirts are more then just way for corporations to use your children as billboards. They have a certain retro feel to them that make the t-shirts unusually dynamic. Plus they are super soft and I have never had an issue with cracking.

Neptune Zoo is a t-shirt company that has the best original graphics. They don't dwell on the usual suspects of cars and robots. My favorite screens are of tattoos and retro surf logos.
