The Brahmin Handbag
I once found a Brahmin handbag crocodile leather briefcase, much like this one pictured, at a thrift store sidewalk sale. I paid $1 for it. It was in mint condition and it was absolutely gorgeous! Ever since then I've been in love with the Brahmin handbag. You don't have to examine one of these handbags up close to see the quality and craftmanship, but to touch it and see it up close you will indeed want one for yourself. I felt like the luckiest girl in the world that day I found my Brahmin handbag, it was just lying there in a box, I was about 30 feet away when I spotted it. I could tell from that distance it was something special. You should've seen me making a beeline for that handbag! I had never seen a Brahmin handbag before, until that day.

- I bought one on Bonanzle for $5.00. The purse was really old and the strap was chewed in half. However, I dyed it and fixed the strap. Wow, it came out beautiful!!!! This became my favorite purse and put my new coaches to shame. The quality is unbelievable. Since January 2009, I have bought 7 brahmin purses. Worth the money new or vintage.

- I must say "Ditto" to this. I saw my first Brahmin bags
at Dillard's on a Florida trip. I was supposed to be helping my DIL find a nice new designer bag. She is the collector, not me. That is...until I saw one behind the counter while she was examining a Michael Kors bag to be sure it was adequate for her service revolver. I was immediately hooked. I have been smiling & patting myself on the back ever since. It is a beautiful Toasted Almond Emerson and it was half price. Not as good as a dollar at a thrift store but maybe I will get lucky there too..
